No. Ubiquiti Inc. is incorporated in Delaware and lists its principal executive offices in New York, so it is a U.S.-based company—not a Chinese brand. However, its manufacturing has a China connection: the company says contract manufacturers primarily located in Vietnam and China make its products. A company’s corporate identity and the manufacturing location of a particular device are separate questions.
What makes Ubiquiti a U.S.-based company?
Ubiquiti Inc.’s fiscal 2026 Form 10-K identifies Delaware as its state of incorporation and New York, New York, as the location of its principal executive offices. The filing says Robert Pera founded the company in 2005. Those corporate details support describing Ubiquiti as a U.S.-based company; “Chinese brand” is not a legal classification. Are Ubiquiti products made in China?
Some may be, but the company’s filing does not establish the manufacturing country of every model or individual unit. Ubiquiti says: “We use contract manufacturers, primarily located in Vietnam and China, to manufacture our products.” That describes its contractor footprint in general, not a guarantee that a specific access point, router, or other product was made in either country. To determine where a particular device was made, check its packaging or product label. The company-wide statement alone is not enough to identify an individual unit’s country of origin.

How do corporate identity and operating locations differ?
A company can be incorporated and headquartered in one country while manufacturing goods or conducting other business in several others. Ubiquiti’s fiscal 2026 filing reports business operations in mainland China and Taiwan, as well as significant research and development activities and a warehouse in Taiwan. These operating and supplier locations do not change the Delaware incorporation and New York principal-office locations it reports. Corporate details · Manufacturing and operations details

What does Ubiquiti make?
The company’s filing describes products and software for networking and related uses, including wireless LAN, switching, routing, video surveillance, security gateways, and access control. A UniFi WiFi access point is one example of its wireless LAN hardware; that product category does not by itself reveal where a particular unit was manufactured. Ubiquiti’s fiscal 2026 Form 10-K
