There is no verified official listing for a Sonic 35th anniversary product or line called the “Shadow Collection.” SEGA has announced Sonic anniversary merchandise and separate Shadow collaboration goods, but the available official information does not establish that a Shadow-only anniversary collection has launched. Here is what those listings actually show.
What is the “Shadow Collection,” and is it available now?
The name “Shadow Collection” does not appear as a confirmed product or product line in the official SEGA information reviewed. That means the claim in the title cannot be treated as confirmation of a newly launched Shadow anniversary collection. A product or announcement not covered by those listings may exist, but no official product-specific listing verifies it here.
SEGA’s 2026 anniversary announcements establish that Sonic the Hedgehog, who debuted in the 1991 game Sonic the Hedgehog, is celebrating 35 years. SEGA reported more than 1.77 billion cumulative series units sold in its March 27, 2026 announcement; that publisher-reported total combines full games and free-to-play titles and is not a count of unique players. SEGA’s anniversary portal features anniversary news, but its reviewed listings do not identify a Shadow-only collection.
Which official Sonic anniversary merchandise is listed?
SEGA’s official shop lists ten items under its Sonic 35th anniversary collection. The range is branded around Sonic and the series, rather than presented as a Shadow collection.

How to check before buying
- Confirm the product name and character. Look for a product-specific SEGA listing. Anniversary-branded Sonic items, Shadow × Hangyodon collaboration goods, a game, and a past in-game event are different releases.
- Check the format and marketplace. The anniversary shop listing is merchandise; the Sanrio items were announced through Japanese channels; the CD is a physical music release; and Sonic × Shadow Generations is a game sold across listed platforms.
- Verify live availability with the seller. Listings can change between preorder, in stock, and out of stock. The reviewed Japanese collaboration announcement does not confirm current inventory or regional shipping.
- Match the price to the region and date. The shop prices were observed October 11, 2026; the collaboration and CD prices are Japanese yen. Neither should be treated as a universal current price.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
