There is not enough verified information to name a winner or calculate a current price difference. Samsung documents the Galaxy A36 5G, but the exact “OPPO K15 5G” model is not confirmed by the official OPPO materials available here. A third-party comparison labels it upcoming and lists specifications, but those figures should not be treated as confirmed. Check the model name, region and current listing before comparing them.
First, is the OPPO K15 5G a confirmed model?
The key issue is model identity. A 91mobiles comparison page labels the OPPO K15 5G “Upcoming” and lists specifications. However, the official OPPO materials available for this comparison identify the OPPO K15 Pro, not an OPPO K15 5G. OPPO’s China Business Store catalog likewise presents K15 Pro series devices.
That does not establish whether “K15 5G” is a separate upcoming model, an incorrect name, or stale third-party data. It also does not establish that the K15 Pro and K15 5G are the same phone. Until OPPO confirms the exact model and regional version, the listed K15 5G specifications are unverified claims.
What the confirmed Galaxy A36 5G offers
Samsung’s UK product page specifies a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 12 MP front camera, a typical 5,000 mAh battery and 45 W Super Fast Charge. It also lists a 1,200-nit high-brightness mode. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance-test results. Samsung lists regional memory and storage options, so check the specification for the market and configuration you intend to buy.

Samsung’s Korea launch announcement describes a local 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage configuration with a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 5 MP macro camera, a 12 MP front camera and Wi-Fi 6. These Korea-market details should not be assumed to apply to every regional A36 configuration.
Durability and software support
Samsung lists IP67 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear of the A36 5G. Samsung qualifies the IP67 rating as laboratory-tested submersion in up to one metre of freshwater for up to 30 minutes; resistance may diminish with wear, and Samsung does not advise beach or pool use.
Samsung says the A36 5G is eligible for up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The company notes that update availability and timing may vary by model and market. See Samsung’s UK Galaxy A36 5G specifications for the details tied to that listing.

How the listed OPPO K15 5G claims compare
The third-party page lists a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, a 50 MP front camera, an 8,000 mAh battery, 80 W charging and 256 GB storage for the OPPO K15 5G. Because OPPO’s official materials cited here do not verify that exact model, these should be read as unconfirmed listing claims—not a reliable basis for choosing between phones.
| Comparison point | Samsung Galaxy A36 5G | OPPO K15 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Model verification | Documented on Samsung’s official product page. | Not confirmed by the official OPPO materials cited here; 91mobiles labels it upcoming. |
| Display | 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120 Hz (Samsung UK). | 6.59-inch AMOLED, according to 91mobiles; unverified by OPPO. |
| Front camera | 12 MP (Samsung UK). | 50 MP, according to 91mobiles; unverified by OPPO. |
| Battery and charging | 5,000 mAh typical capacity and 45 W charging (Samsung UK). | 8,000 mAh and 80 W, according to 91mobiles; unverified by OPPO. |
| Storage and RAM | Options vary by market; Samsung UK lists regional configurations. | 256 GB storage is listed by 91mobiles; the corresponding configuration is unverified by OPPO. |
| Rear cameras | Samsung Korea lists 50 MP wide with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide and 5 MP macro for its 6 GB/128 GB configuration. | Not established by the official OPPO materials cited here. |
| Durability | Samsung lists IP67 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and rear, with the IP67 limits described above. | Not established by the official OPPO materials cited here. |
| Software support | Up to six OS upgrade generations and six years of security updates, subject to Samsung’s market and timing caveat. | Not established by the official OPPO materials cited here. |
The table is not a like-for-like performance verdict: Samsung’s entries come from official regional materials, while the OPPO entries attributed to 91mobiles remain unconfirmed. In particular, a larger claimed battery or higher charging wattage does not establish real-world endurance or charging time.

Compare current listings only after verifying the exact OPPO model. For both phones, match the country, RAM and storage configuration, seller, currency and capture date. Then compare the listed prices on the same basis, including any required delivery charge or stated promotion. Without those matching details, a numerical “price difference” can be misleading.
Which phone should you choose?
The Galaxy A36 5G is the only one of these two exact model names with specifications and support terms established by the official product information cited here. If those documented features meet your needs, it is the more assessable choice on the available evidence. Do not choose—or reject—the supposed K15 5G based on the third-party figures alone; first confirm the model name and specifications with OPPO or an authorized seller in your market.
