No Android release date or official Google Play listing has been confirmed for Restory, the AI photo-restoration app. Its owner describes it as an iOS app launched in February 2026. That does not rule out a later Android release, but there is not enough confirmation to say it is coming in 2026.
What is confirmed about Restory on Android?
Restory’s owner, founder Pau Pidelaserra, describes the product as an iOS app launched on the App Store in February 2026. The surfaced Apple App Store listing is for iOS. The owner’s about page describes the app and its launch.
The sources reviewed do not establish an Android launch date or an official Android listing. This is a limited finding, not proof that an announcement cannot appear later. Treat a 2026 Android release as unconfirmed unless Restory publishes a dated announcement or a matching official Google Play listing appears.

What does the Restory photo app do?
Restory’s owner describes six AI-assisted tools: face restoration, colorization, scratch removal, image enhancement, generative fill, and portrait animation. According to the company, images are sent to its cloud infrastructure for processing and usually returned in under 30 seconds.

Pidelaserra says photos are processed in memory and deleted within 24 hours, and that user photos are not used to train models without explicit consent. These are the company’s statements; the reviewed sources do not independently verify them. The founder describes the results as “plausible reconstruction, not perfect reproduction,” so restored details should not be treated as an exact recovery of what was in the original photograph.
Is Restory the same as ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs?
No. Restory is the photo-restoration app; ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is a separate electronics-repair shop simulator for PC and Mac. The game’s release announcement, published July 23, 2026, set its release date as August 6, 2026. That announcement says nothing about the photo app’s Android plans.

An independent page about the game reported on August 19, 2026, that no native Android or iOS game release had been announced. Streaming a PC game to a phone is not the same as installing a native mobile version. Neither the game’s release news nor its mobile status confirms Android availability for Restory’s photo app.
How to verify an Android release
- Look for a dated announcement on Restory’s own site or another official channel that explicitly names the photo-restoration app and Android.
- Check Google Play for a listing that clearly matches Restory’s photo-restoration features and identifies the app’s publisher. A similarly named game or unrelated app is not confirmation.
- Distinguish an installable Android app from access through a browser or game-streaming service; those are different ways to use software.
Until one of those official signals appears, Android availability, release timing, feature parity, and pricing remain unestablished.
