The Princess Mononoke jacket most likely meant by “military-style” is GBL’s reversible sukajan, but it is not confirmed to have returned: GBL’s product page currently marks it sold out. Which Princess Mononoke jacket is this?
The likely match is GBL’s Princess Mononoke reversible sukajan. GBL calls it a sukajan, a Japanese-style embroidered souvenir jacket. The official product description does not characterize it as a military jacket or describe military construction, so “military-style” is an imprecise label for this item.
Do not confuse it with the separate Levi’s x Princess Mononoke denim collection or assume that other Ghibli apparel is the same product.

GBL’s product page currently displays the sukajan as sold out. Benelic’s 2019 announcement documents the original release, but the official sources do not confirm a return after two years. No current alternative inventory is established by those sources, so a resale listing should not be taken as proof of an official re-release.

What the jacket looks like and how it is made
The jacket is reversible, with embroidered designs on both sides. The velvet side has a sleeve motif representing the curse of the Tatarigami; the rayon side features San riding Moro. GBL’s product description calls it the second Princess Mononoke sukajan design and notes that it can be worn on either side.

Benelic’s August 26, 2019 announcement lists velvet-side polyester, rayon-side rayon, polyester padding, and acrylic ribbing. The announcement’s scheduled reservation opening was August 31, 2019, through Donguri Republic’s online store.

Benelic listed the launch price as ¥36,800 before tax in 2019. That is a historical announcement price, not a current price or evidence of what a resale listing should cost.

The announcement lists unisex sizes S, M, L, and XL. GBL’s product page says size S is made small for women and that XL has room on a slim male model.
