Do not order based on the phrase “60 cm” alone. NEFF lists the appliance at 865 × 598 × 550 mm, while CHOICE lists 82 × 60 × 55 cm. The published heights differ, and the available listings do not establish that their measurement conventions or configurations are interchangeable. Check the installation drawing and measure the cabinet opening, including height, width and depth, before committing. CHOICE’s listing provides its public specification summary.

The retailer listing says the appliance has a 10 A plug and lead. Have installation carried out in line with local electrical and plumbing requirements and the official instructions; do not treat a retailer specification as a substitute for installation guidance. How well does it wash and dry?
The available public evidence does not support a definitive performance rating. CHOICE’s page withholds its expert rating, wash and dry scores, energy and water test values, and test year behind member access. Without those results, it is not possible to say from the public listing whether the S287HDX01A cleans or dries better or worse than comparable dishwashers under controlled conditions.

NEFF specifies heat-exchanger drying. That describes the listed drying design, not a guarantee that every load will come out dry. Visible retailer-hosted owner comments include reports of wet dishes or racks, alongside other experiences. These are individual accounts, not controlled comparisons or a measure of how often a problem occurs. Consider how you load dishes and what drying result you expect, and ask about the retailer’s return terms if buying remaining stock.
Are the racks and cutlery storage practical?
Capacity figures conflict: CHOICE lists 15 place settings, while the retailer lists 14. Treat these as source-specific claims rather than one settled capacity. Place-setting counts also cannot tell you whether the rack arrangement suits your own plates, pans, glasses and cooking habits.

Some owner comments describe the available space as limited or the cutlery arrangement as impractical. One reviewer preferred an earlier cutlery tray to the upper cutlery shelf, while a later reviewer said a replacement tray they tried was not compatible. These accounts are useful prompts for an in-person rack check, not proof of a general design defect. Published figures differ by source and basis. CHOICE lists 11 L of claimed water use per cycle, a 5.5-star water rating and a 4-star energy rating. A NEFF catalogue result lists 11.4 L per cycle and 230 kWh per year on an Economy 45°C basis, as well as a 5-star water rating. The catalogue edition date is not established. These figures should not be combined, and none should be presented as independent test results.

The public CHOICE listing does not expose its detailed test values or year tested, so it cannot resolve the discrepancy. How noisy is it?
NEFF lists 42 dB(A), and the retailer also lists 42 dB. The figure is a published specification, not a measurement made in a home kitchen. Room acoustics, cabinetry and the installation can affect how a dishwasher sounds in use, so treat the rating as a comparison point rather than a promise of a particular perceived noise level.

The visible comments include positive experiences as well as concerns about drying, usable space, cutlery storage and button responsiveness.
