The Midea MMW34IN is a 34 L countertop inverter microwave with manufacturer-rated microwave output of 1200 W. Its listed dimensions are 32 × 52 × 41 cm, and it has a 29 cm turntable and 10 power levels. CHOICE marks the model discontinued, and the performance scores on its public page are member-only, so there is not enough accessible evidence to call it a tested performer or recommend it on cooking results alone.
What the MMW34IN specifications tell you
Midea’s model-specific manual identifies the MMW34IN as a 34 L microwave with a rated microwave output of 1200 W and rated microwave input of 1900 W. Output and input are different measures: 1200 W is the stated microwave output, while 1900 W is the stated electrical input. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. CHOICE lists external dimensions of 32 × 52 × 41 cm. Measure the intended space rather than relying on the cavity capacity: the 34 L figure describes internal capacity, not the counter space the appliance occupies.

CHOICE advises allowing 30 cm above the microwave and 20 cm from adjacent walls, with the rear surface against a wall. Check the complete Midea manual and the requirements for your installation before positioning the appliance; the manual provides model-specific installation guidance.
What is known about its cooking performance?
The accessible CHOICE page marks cooking, defrosting, reheating and ease-of-use test scores as member-only. Without those results, it is not possible to substantiate a claim that this model cooks evenly, defrosts well, reheats quickly, or is easy to use. The output rating and inverter description are specifications, not substitutes for independent results or hands-on testing.

If you are comparing the MMW34IN with another microwave, weigh cavity capacity, rated output, external fit and ventilation needs, turntable diameter, controls, independent performance results, warranty and spare-parts support. Current price, warranty terms and parts support for this exact model are not established by the cited public listing.

CHOICE labels the MMW34IN discontinued. That does not prove that no seller has remaining stock, but it means availability should not be assumed. Confirm the exact model number and current stock before buying; a listing for another Midea 34 L microwave is not evidence that it is the same appliance.

For example, Midea Australia’s page for the MMW12VT34B describes a different 34 L inverter model and lists a 315 mm turntable and dimensions of 519 × 407 × 318 mm. The Midea MMW34IN manual warns: “Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.” It also says not to operate the oven if its door or door seals are damaged until it has been repaired by a competent person.

The manual cautions against placing objects between the front face and the door, and against allowing soil or cleaner residue to build up on sealing surfaces. Follow the manual’s cleaning and safety directions; do not use the microwave if the door or seals are damaged.
