A Goodyear airship carrying Grand Theft Auto VI and Vice City branding was reported flying south from Ohio on October 12, 2026. The tracked leg was toward Winston-Salem, North Carolina—not Miami. Reports described Pompano Beach, Florida, as a planned or possible next stop, but the available reports do not confirm that the airship reached Florida.
Which aircraft was spotted?
The aircraft is Wingfoot Three, registration N3A, a Goodyear Zeppelin NT commonly called a blimp. Photos shared by members of the Goodyear Blimp Fan Club showed it wearing Grand Theft Auto VI and Vice City branding. RockstarINTEL credited Rebecca Trussel with first sharing an image, followed by Cecil Richmond and Jim Cassatt; airborne photos were attributed to Roger Durfee. RockstarINTEL’s October 12 report, GTAVice.net’s report, and GTA BOOM’s report all identify the airship with the game’s branding.
What route has been reported?
Tracked flight: Ohio to North Carolina
GTA BOOM reported that FlightAware tracking showed Wingfoot Three departing Wingfoot Lake, Ohio, for Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The report gave an 8:37 a.m. EDT departure and a 12:58 p.m. EDT estimated arrival on October 12, 2026. Those were reported tracking details and an estimated arrival, not confirmation that the aircraft landed there. The same report put the leg at about 343 miles and roughly four hours and twenty minutes; those figures describe that reported flight, not general airship performance.

Florida was an expected next stop, not a confirmed arrival
RockstarINTEL reported a scheduled onward flight to Pompano Beach, Florida. GTAVice.net described Florida as a possible next destination, while GTA BOOM said airship watchers expected Pompano Beach but that the later schedule and exact stops were not public. Pompano Beach is in South Florida, but the reporting does not establish that Wingfoot Three reached Pompano Beach or Miami. The headline’s Miami phrasing should therefore be read as an expectation about where it might go, not a verified arrival.

Did Rockstar and Goodyear announce a promotion?
The reports reviewed do not cite an official announcement from Rockstar Games or Goodyear confirming a joint campaign, who commissioned the livery, or who paid for it. GTAVice.net said Rockstar had not commented, and GTA BOOM reported that neither company had published an official route. The branding is visible and reported; a formal partnership is not established by that fact alone.
How to follow the flight reports
GTA BOOM’s October 12 coverage attributed the Ohio-to-North Carolina route information to FlightAware tracking. Flight-tracking data can indicate a reported aircraft position or estimated arrival, while a fan photograph can show the airship’s appearance at a particular time and place. Neither, on its own, confirms a later stop that has not yet been observed or reported. The sources above do not establish the route after the reported North Carolina leg.

Can the public ride the GTA 6 blimp?
These reports concern an airship flight and its game-themed livery; they do not say that public rides are available. Do not treat a promotional appearance or a flight-tracking entry as evidence that the aircraft is offering passenger access.
