The “secret” deal refers to unusually deep, documented Black Friday promotions from 2024 and 2025—not a confirmed offer you can buy today. “Secret” is editorial framing, not proof of a hidden Dyson coupon. A legitimate limited-access offer should still be verifiable through a retailer’s product page, account-only price, email offer or clearly stated promotion. If you cannot see the seller, condition, final price and return terms, you do not have enough information to call it a deal.

Which Dyson hair dryer are you considering?
Supersonic
The original Supersonic is the model covered by the 2024 and 2025 discount reports. Check whether a listing is for a new unit, an older package configuration or a marketplace seller’s stock; the name alone does not establish condition or included accessories.
Supersonic Nural
The Nural appeared in Forbes Vetted’s 27%-off report alongside the original Supersonic. Its discount should be evaluated separately from an original Supersonic promotion because model, package contents and regular price can differ.
Supersonic Origin
The best documented low dollar figure was for a refurbished Origin at Walmart in 2025. A refurbished Origin is not equivalent to a new Supersonic or Supersonic Nural. Confirm who performed the refurbishment, what warranty applies, whether all attachments are included and how returns are handled.
How to verify a Black Friday-level listing
- Open the retailer’s current product page. Do not rely on a dated article, search snippet or social post. The page should show the price, stock status and seller.
- Identify the exact model. Make sure the listing says Supersonic, Supersonic Nural or Supersonic Origin, rather than using a generic “Dyson hair dryer” title.
- Check condition prominently. “New,” “refurbished” and “used” carry different risks and should not be compared as though they were the same product.
- Review what is in the box. Compare the listed attachments and accessories with the package you intend to buy. Missing accessories can erase the apparent saving.
- Read warranty and returns before paying. Record the warranty provider, coverage period, restocking rules and return deadline, particularly for refurbished or marketplace listings.

What to expect for Black Friday 2026
Dyson’s official page says, “The countdown is on for Black Friday 2026,” but states that the offers had not yet been revealed when checked on October 15, 2026. The page lists Black Friday on November 27, 2026, followed by Cyber Monday on November 30, 2026. No cited source establishes a live October 15 price or inventory level.
Until Dyson or a retailer publishes a current offer, the 2024 and 2025 figures are useful benchmarks rather than promises. A new Supersonic or Nural near the historical 27%-off level would be notable; a refurbished Origin around the 2025 $179.99 report should be judged against its condition, warranty and included attachments, not against the price of a new model.
A practical buying decision
- Buy now only if the live listing is verifiable and the total price, condition, accessories, warranty and returns meet your requirements.
- Wait for Black Friday if you specifically want a new Supersonic or Nural and can tolerate uncertain timing. The official 2026 offers are not public yet.
- Consider a refurbished Origin only when the seller and refurbishment terms are clear and the lower price compensates for any differences from a new machine.
