The Love N Care Hi-Rise is a discontinued tandem stroller with a rear seat listed as suitable for a newborn, but its published child-weight limits conflict: the manufacturer-hosted manual says not to exceed 20 kg, while CHOICE lists 30 kg total. Treat the figures as unresolved, and check the manual supplied with the specific stroller before use. CHOICE lists specifications, but the available page does not reveal its member-only test results, so there is no basis here to claim the Hi-Rise passed or failed safety or performance testing.
What the Love N Care Hi-Rise Tandem review can establish
CHOICE identifies the Hi-Rise as a four-wheel tandem double stroller and marks it discontinued. Its published listing gives the following specifications; they are not a substitute for inspecting an individual used stroller.
| Specification | Published information |
|---|---|
| Stroller weight | 13 kg, according to CHOICE |
| Dimensions | 113 × 58 × 125 cm (H × W × D), according to CHOICE |
| Basket capacity | 5 kg, according to CHOICE |
| Newborn suitability | Rear seat only, according to CHOICE |
| Maximum child weight | Conflicting figures: 30 kg total on the CHOICE listing, with no per-seat maximum specified; the Love N Care manual says not to exceed 20 kg. See the weight-limit section below. |
| Current price | Not established. CHOICE lists $349, but its publication date and whether that figure is current are not stated. |
The CHOICE page includes expert rating and test fields, but the detailed rating, performance scores, safety-test result, pros and cons are member-only in the available material. The specifications above therefore do not support a verdict about test performance or safety certification.
Which child-weight limit should you follow?
The manufacturer-hosted Love N Care Hi-Rise manual states, “Maximum weight should not exceed 20kg.” CHOICE reports a maximum of 30 kg total. The available information does not establish whether the difference reflects product versions or a listing error, and CHOICE does not specify a maximum for each seat.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Do not assume either number applies to every Hi-Rise. Check the manual that came with the particular stroller and any labels on its frame or seats. If the applicable limit remains unclear, contact Love N Care before placing children in it; do not infer that each seat can carry half the stated total.
What the manual says about safe use and care
The manual’s instructions are guidance from the manufacturer, not independent confirmation that a used stroller is intact or safe. Before use, follow the supplied instructions for the specific unit.

- Make sure the stroller is completely open and locked before using it.
- Never leave a child unattended, and always use the supplied harness.
- Do not use the stroller on stairways or escalators.
- Take care when folding and unfolding to avoid trapping fingers.
- Stop using the stroller if it is damaged.
- Clean vinyl parts with mild soap and water. The manual advises oil on caster bolts and wheel grease to maintain wheel movement.
For a secondhand stroller, check that it opens and locks as instructed, inspect the frame and components for damage, and confirm that the harness and the manual for that unit are present. These checks do not replace manufacturer guidance or establish a safety-test result.
