The Dell Pro 16 PC16250 is a configurable 16-inch business laptop, not one fixed set of specifications. The publicly described CHOICE review unit has an Intel Core Ultra 7 255U, 16 GB of memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 1920 × 1200 display, but its published listing does not disclose test scores or a recommendation. That makes configuration checks—not an assumed performance verdict—the essential starting point.
Which PC16250 configuration does the review cover?
CHOICE’s public listing identifies its Australian review sample as a Dell Pro 16 PC16250 with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD and 16-inch 1920 × 1200 display. The listing gives the sample’s weight as 1.9 kg. Its publication date is not shown on the accessible page. These are the sample’s listed specifications, not measured results. CHOICE’s PC16250 listing
Dell’s U.S. product page shows a broader range: Core 5 120U, Core 7 150U and several Core Ultra 200U processor options, along with choices of memory, storage, display and battery. A PC16250 bought in another market—or configured differently—may therefore not match the CHOICE sample. Dell’s U.S. product listing
What do the public review results establish?
The accessible CHOICE page identifies the reviewed configuration but keeps its expert rating, performance and display assessments, battery results, detailed tester comments and recommendation behind membership. The public information does not establish independent benchmark performance, measured display quality, battery runtime, durability or an overall verdict. It would be misleading to infer those results from the specifications alone.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Dell’s product page includes an aggregate of customer reviews that Dell describes as AI-generated and updated weekly. Customer feedback can offer context, but it is not a controlled test of the PC16250, and it does not fill in the unpublished CHOICE results.
What varies between PC16250 configurations?
Processor, memory and storage
Dell’s U.S. listing includes Core 5 120U, Core 7 150U and multiple Core Ultra 200U options. CHOICE’s sample uses the Core Ultra 7 255U with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD; those details should not be assumed for every unit. Dell lists DDR5 memory and SSD choices. The Dell Technologies Official Store UAE says memory is upgradeable up to 64 GB, but that regional specification should not be generalized to every market or SKU. Display and battery
Dell lists 16-inch FHD+ IPS display options, including touch and non-touch panels. Some listed panels are rated at 300 nits and 45% NTSC; those are manufacturer specifications for options, not independent measurements of the CHOICE review sample. CHOICE gives its sample’s resolution as 1920 × 1200 but the public listing does not establish measured brightness, contrast or color performance.

Keyboard, weight and regional details
Dell lists a numeric keypad, but keyboard layout and backlighting can depend on the SKU. The UAE store listing, for example, is for an Arabic-keyboard configuration. Dell’s U.S. page gives a minimum listed weight of 1.92 kg, while CHOICE lists its review sample at 1.9 kg. These figures refer to different source listings and should not be treated as the weight of every configuration. Check the local product description for the keyboard layout, weight and warranty that apply to your unit.
How well equipped is it for a desk setup?
Dell lists USB-A, USB-C, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, a headset connection and power connections. The mix supports common wired peripherals and network access without relying solely on adapters. Dell says its docking stations can connect through Thunderbolt 4; no particular dock’s compatibility has been established here.

The UAE store page also lists a second USB-C port and says: “Manual privacy shutters ensure you’re seen only when you want to.” That is a manufacturer statement about the camera shutter, not an independent assessment. Port and feature availability can vary by region and model, as the regional listing notes.
What should you check before buying?
- Match the model and market. Confirm the listing is for PC16250 and check the seller’s regional specification and warranty; the Australian CHOICE sample and Dell’s U.S. and UAE listings describe different markets.
- Verify the processor. Read the exact CPU name rather than relying on “Dell Pro 16” or the PC16250 model number alone.
- Confirm installed memory and SSD capacity. Check what is included in the specific unit. Treat the UAE store’s up-to-64-GB upgrade statement as regional, not universal.
- Check the display and battery options. Confirm touch versus non-touch, the panel specification and whether the battery is 45 Wh or 55 Wh; do not infer runtime from capacity alone.
- Check keyboard and ports against your needs. Verify the local keyboard layout and the exact port selection, particularly if you depend on Thunderbolt 4 or a specific USB-C connection.
- Compare the local price and warranty for the exact configuration. The available U.S. and Australian listings do not provide a like-for-like price comparison.
Who is the PC16250 a sensible fit for?
Its listed 16-inch FHD+ display, numeric keypad, Ethernet and broad set of connections point to a work-oriented laptop that can serve as a desktop replacement for users who value screen space and wired connectivity. Its listed minimum weight is around 1.9 kg, so it is not an especially light choice for frequent carrying compared with smaller laptops. The right fit depends on the specific configuration, local price and whether its size and ports suit your routine.
