The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Eleven is a premium pair of true wireless earbuds with high-end design, warm sound, multipoint Bluetooth and IP57-rated earbuds. Its trade-off is that the hands-on review available praises its sound and appearance more than its noise cancelling, battery life, fit flexibility or value. It may suit listeners who prize presentation and build, but the review does not make it an obvious choice for buyers chiefly seeking the strongest ANC or longest runtime.
What are the Beoplay Eleven earbuds?
Beoplay Eleven is Bang & Olufsen’s in-ear wireless model with active noise cancelling (ANC), transparency features and a Qi-capable charging case. The official US product page displayed a price of $599 when accessed in 2026; that is a dated listing observation, not a guaranteed current checkout price. Bang & Olufsen’s November 2024 product sheet lists Natural Aluminium, Copper Tone and Eucalyptus Green finishes, Bluetooth 5.2, a 10-metre range, memory for six paired devices and multipoint connections to two devices simultaneously.
The manufacturer describes the product with the line “Vivid sound or pure silence. In-ear noise cancelling excellence.” That is marketing copy, not an independent assessment of ANC performance. The product sheet also specifies six built-in microphones, touch controls and adaptive, customizable ambient presets. Its earbuds carry an IP57 rating; the case is Qi-capable.

HIFI.DE’s reviewer describes the sound as full and warm, with clear, powerful guitars and a broad, authentic soundstage. The outlet considers sound and design standout strengths. These are listening impressions from that reviewer, not objective measurements or a claim based on our own testing. Read HIFI.DE’s Beoplay Eleven review.
#1 Best Overall
- Stylish Design: Crafted with a combination of aluminum, exclusive hardened glass, polymer, and silicone, our earbuds stand out from the crowd
- Next Level Noise Cancellation: Beoplay Eleven wireless earbuds boast our best noise cancellation technology in an earbud to date
- Full-Spectrum Sound: With a 9.2mm driver in each earbud and a frequency range of 20 - 22,000 Hz, Beoplay Eleven deliver intricate and powerful sound in a lightweight package
- Clear Calling Experience: Enhanced calling quality with an increased microphone inlet and wind filtering technology for clearer voice transmission
- Long Battery Life: Offering up to 6 hours of playtime with ANC, and up to 20 hours with ANC when including the charging case
How good is the noise cancelling?
HIFI.DE found the ANC merely adequate and did not perceive a major improvement over the Beoplay EX. The reviewer preferred the transparency mode, describing it as natural-sounding. That makes the Eleven’s ambient listening feature a more persuasive point in this review than its ability to suppress noise; the available evidence does not establish that it leads competing earbuds in ANC.
How long does the battery last?
Bang & Olufsen claims up to six hours of playback per charge with ANC on, or up to eight hours with ANC off. Including the case, the corresponding claims are up to 20 and 28 hours. These are maximum figures at moderate listening volume; the company says runtime varies with volume, music intensity and EQ. Bang & Olufsen’s battery-life guidance gives the conditions behind the claims.
HIFI.DE’s review summary also lists six hours with ANC and 14 additional hours from the case, consistent with a 20-hour ANC-on total. It reports that a 20-minute charge provides up to one hour and 45 minutes of playback. That fast-charge figure is the outlet’s stated specification, not a guarantee of the same result in every use condition.

Will the fit and controls work for you?
Fit is individual. HIFI.DE warns that the way an earbud sits affects comfort, and that people with smaller ears may have difficulty achieving a good fit or feel pressure over time. The reviewer recommends trying the earbuds before buying when possible. The IP57 rating applies to the earbuds, as reported by the outlet and specified by Bang & Olufsen; it should not be read as a rating for the charging case.
HIFI.DE found the touch controls usable after a short adjustment period, but said they cannot be freely reassigned and described the companion app as somewhat minimal. The reviewer reported that multipoint worked without issue in testing. Those are review findings rather than a guarantee about every device combination.
Beoplay Eleven vs. Beoplay EX
The Beoplay EX is the direct predecessor comparison documented by HIFI.DE. The outlet’s comparison is historical and uses its launch-era euro pricing, not today’s prices. It said the EX cost about €200 less when the Eleven launched, sounded almost as good, and offered slightly longer stated total battery life. HIFI.DE’s own review listing showed €499 for the Eleven; that figure is outlet-specific context and should not be treated as a current or universal price.

| Decision point | Beoplay Eleven | Beoplay EX |
|---|---|---|
| Sound | HIFI.DE praised its warm, full presentation and broad soundstage. | HIFI.DE judged it almost as good-sounding as the Eleven. |
| ANC and transparency | HIFI.DE considered ANC adequate and preferred the natural-sounding transparency mode. | HIFI.DE did not perceive a major ANC step up for the Eleven over the EX. |
| Battery | Bang & Olufsen claims up to 6 hours with ANC, 8 without, and up to 20/28 hours including the case at moderate volume. | HIFI.DE said the EX offered slightly longer stated total battery life; the exact figure is not stated in the inspected review. |
| Price context | HIFI.DE listed €499 on its review page; Bang & Olufsen’s US page displayed $599 when accessed in 2026. | HIFI.DE said it was about €200 cheaper than the Eleven at the Eleven’s launch. |
On that evidence, the Eleven makes the stronger case if its design, sound character, IP57 earbuds and newer ambient-listening feature set matter more than price. The EX is the more compelling value proposition in HIFI.DE’s historical comparison if you want nearly the same sound and can find it at a lower price. Current prices and availability may differ by retailer and region.

Is the Beoplay Eleven worth it?
The Eleven is easiest to justify for listeners who want Bang & Olufsen design, the warm and spacious sound character HIFI.DE liked, multipoint and a useful transparency mode. It is harder to recommend on ANC performance or value alone: HIFI.DE found noise cancelling only adequate, flagged fit concerns for smaller ears and viewed the EX as nearly as good-sounding for substantially less at launch.
Price context varies by market and date. Bang & Olufsen’s US page showed $599 when accessed in 2026. HIFI.DE listed €499, while Stiftung Warentest reported a mean online price of €517 as of December 15, 2025.
