The be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD 360 is a feature-led 360mm liquid cooler: its round screen, extensive lighting and simplified cable routing give it more visual flair than a plain AIO, while its refill port is a practical longevity feature. Reviews found its cooling competent rather than class-leading, and the software drew usability criticism. It makes most sense if you specifically want the display and appearance—and your case fits its radiator—rather than if maximum cooling per dollar is the priority.
What is the Light Loop IO LCD 360?
This is the LCD-equipped version of be quiet!’s Light Loop, not the screen-free Light Loop 360. The range includes 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes in black and white. The black 360mm model is BW032. The 2.1-inch round IPS display can show sensor information, images, GIFs and videos; Hardware Busters reports a resolution of 480 × 480 and brightness of 500 nits in its October 2026 review. be quiet!’s product page describes the display and integrated lighting features.
The IO Controller is intended to reduce cable clutter: one cooler cable carries ARGB, PWM and display signals to the controller, while fan cables are routed along the tubes. The controller still needs an internal USB header and SATA power, according to Hardware Busters. So the design reduces the cables running from the cooler itself, but does not eliminate internal connections.

There is no single result that applies to every processor or fan setting. The available reviews used different CPUs, noise methods and comparison sets, so treat their figures as results from those particular benches rather than a direct ranking.

Club386: results across fan speeds and CPUs
In a review published August 11, 2026, Club386 measured 30.6 dBA at 1,200 rpm and 45.2 dBA at 2,100 rpm; at 600 rpm, the reviewer could not hear the cooler and the meter detected no noise. These are measurements from Club386’s setup, not a standardized cross-lab comparison. With a Ryzen 7 5800X3D rated at 105W, the review recorded an average delta T of 41.3°C at 600 rpm. With a Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its full 170W TDP, it recorded a peak delta T of 65.0°C, corresponding to a 91°C peak temperature in that test. At 1,200 rpm, the reported average delta T was 50.2°C and actual core temperature was 76.8°C.
Club386 found some coolers cooler under its comparison settings, including the MSI CoreLiquid P22 360. The comparison also included the larger 420mm Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro ARGB. Differences in radiator size, CPU, fan speed and test conditions mean those results should not be read as a universal head-to-head verdict.

Hardware Busters: normalized-noise comparison
Hardware Busters tested on an AM5 system with a Ryzen 9 7900X, comparing 19 other AIOs at normalized noise levels. It characterized the Light Loop’s results as about average in its charts. Reviewer crmaris summarized the result in the October 2–3, 2026 review: “be quiet!’s Light Loop IO LCD 360mm puts a round IPS display on the pump block and runs the fans, the pump, the lighting, and the screen over a single cable. On my Ryzen 9 7900X, it cools about as well as the average AIO in my charts, it costs $254.90, and its IO Center software is far more complicated than it should be.”
How do you control the screen, fans and lighting?
Windows IO Center is used to customize screen backgrounds and sensor data, lighting on the pump head and fans, and fan profiles. Hardware Busters’ reviewed application version was 1.3.3; that review says it controls fan speed, pump speed, lighting and the display. The manufacturer says the background and lighting effects can be saved to the cooler, so IO Center does not need to remain running continuously for those saved settings.

Software usability is a genuine trade-off. Hardware Busters called the app more complicated than it should be. Club386, which tested an early preview, found it generally easy to use but noted quirks. The browser version is not a full substitute: Hardware Busters says it lacks features including Hardware Monitor, Cooling Studio, display overlays and temperature-based lighting.
Will it fit your case and CPU socket?
For the black 360mm model, be quiet! lists the radiator-and-fan assembly at 397 × 120 × 52 mm and the cooling block at 63.8 × 61.9 × 54 mm; listed weight is 1.6 kg. Hardware Busters gives the tubes’ length as 400 mm and describes them as short. Check the case’s radiator clearance for the exact mounting position, including the assembly’s length and thickness, and confirm that the tube routing reaches without strain.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCan you refill it, and what about repairs?
The cooler has a refill port and includes coolant. be quiet! presents these as longevity features, allowing coolant replenishment rather than treating the unit as permanently sealed. That does not establish a particular service interval or guarantee lifespan.

Hardware Busters reports proprietary fan and pump connectors. If a part needs replacement, confirm model-specific compatibility rather than assuming a standard connector or substituting a generic fan. The 400mm tubes may also limit routing options in some cases.
Is the Light Loop IO LCD 360 worth its price?
Prices in the reviews are historical, not verified current offers. Club386 listed £179.99 / $249.90 in August 2026. Hardware Busters listed $254.90 for the white model in October 2026 and said the black model cost $5 less. Check local pricing and availability when deciding: regional listings can change, and those review figures do not establish today’s price.
Club386 considered the UK price reasonable against some LCD-equipped competitors but felt the cooler did not quite justify its premium against the broader competition. Its higher price buys a distinctive screen and lighting setup, integrated cable management and refill access—not a proven cooling advantage over every rival. When comparing alternatives, match CPU power and noise conditions where possible, then weigh radiator dimensions, software, display design, routing, serviceability and current local price. A 420mm model, for example, is not a like-for-like size comparison with this 360mm cooler.

Quick Recap
- It is a stronger fit if the round screen and coordinated lighting are central to your build, you want its consolidated cooler-side cabling, and your case has room for the assembly.
- Look elsewhere if you mainly want the strongest cooling for the money, prefer simpler software, or need more flexible tube routing and standard replacement connections.
