The ASKO DBI243IB.S.AU is a built-in stainless steel dishwasher listed for 14 place settings, with manufacturer figures of 44 dB(A) noise, 12.7 L water use and 275 kWh estimated annual energy consumption. Those specifications make it worth considering if the dimensions suit your cabinetry and you find Australian stock, but CHOICE labels it a discontinued model. Publicly visible CHOICE information does not show its independent wash or drying scores, so the available evidence is not enough to judge its real-world performance against current alternatives.
What the ASKO DBI243IB.S.AU offers
This is ASKO’s Australian-market, stainless steel built-in dishwasher. ASKO lists 14 place settings, seven programs, two baskets and fan-assisted Turbo Drying. Its feature list also includes Flexiracks, telescopic rails, knife holders and the Super Cleaning System, which ASKO says rinses dishes and cleans the interior, including the filter. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independently verified performance results.
ASKO describes the machine as having “8 Steel” construction, saying steel is used for the main components rather than plastic. Other advertised features include Aqua Safe leak protection, a seven-spray system and an XL 82 cm format.
