The March 10, 2027 release date for Shadow of the Road is not confirmed by the official materials checked. The official Steam listing and the game’s release-date announcement state November 12, 2026. That is the date those sources currently give; it does not prove that no later change has been made.
What is the release date for Shadow of the Road?
The official Steam listing and an August 26, 2026 release-date announcement from Another Angle Games say Shadow of the Road launches on November 12, 2026. The announcement says, “We’re happy to announce that Shadow of the Road releases on November 12th, 2026.”
Neither of those official materials supports March 10, 2027 as the game’s release date. The available evidence does not establish whether that later date appeared elsewhere or whether a change was announced after these materials; check the official listing and developer announcements for the latest status.

Shadow of the Road is a story-driven, turn-based tactical RPG developed by Another Angle Games and published by Owlcat Games. Its setting is a fantastical reimagining of Japan in 1868, amid civil war and conflict between traditionalist forces and technologically advanced opponents. The fictional world combines magic, yōkai and machinery.

The announcement describes tactical battles built around skills, positioning and managing an initiative timeline. Choices also affect relationships among the travelling party. Steam lists the game as a PC title and describes a demo and a wishlist option.

For a current release date, use the official Steam store page and the developer’s Steam Community announcements. If either source updates its date or publishes a delay notice, that would provide stronger confirmation than an unsupported date circulating elsewhere.
