Yes. S-GAME has announced Phantom Blade Zero for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, launching alongside the PlayStation 5 version. The publisher has also released baseline, ray-tracing and path-tracing PC specifications, although the listed performance targets all assume upscaling is enabled.
Platforms and launch date at a glance
S-GAME’s global-launch announcement on December 12, 2025 named three platforms: PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The official PlayStation listing identifies the PS5 edition, while the two PC storefronts are the announced computer options.
| Platform | Status in the announced global launch |
|---|---|
| PC via Steam | Announced |
| PC via Epic Games Store | Announced |
| PlayStation 5 | Announced |
| Xbox | Not listed in the reviewed announcements |
| Nintendo Switch | Not listed in the reviewed announcements |
Not seeing Xbox or Nintendo Switch in these announcements does not prove that a later version is impossible; it only means those platforms were not part of the launch information reviewed here.

The current S-GAME homepage and the official PlayStation page show October 29, 2026. Steam’s product listing shows October 28, 2026. The available announcements do not explain the one-day difference, so readers should treat October 29 as the date stated by S-GAME and PlayStation while checking the Steam page for the date displayed in their region.

On June 2, 2026, S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang announced: “Phantom Blade Zero will now launch on October 29, 2026, moved from its previous date of September 9, 2026.” That statement establishes the move from September 9, but it does not clarify why Steam currently uses October 28.
Published PC system requirements
S-GAME published the following specifications on August 12, 2026. The first two rows are the general minimum and recommended configurations. Ray tracing and path tracing are separate feature targets rather than extra conventional tiers.
| Tier | Operating system | Processor | Graphics card | Memory, API and storage | Publisher’s stated target |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB | 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required | 1080p at 30 FPS, with upscaling enabled |
| Recommended | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB | 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required | 1440p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled |
| Ray tracing recommended | Not separately specified | Not separately specified | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB | No separate RAM, API or storage details stated | 1080p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled |
| Path tracing recommended | Not separately specified | Not separately specified | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB | No separate RAM, API or storage details stated | 2160p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled |
What the minimum tier tells you
The entry configuration requires a 64-bit installation of Windows 10 or Windows 11, a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 class processor, and either a 6GB GTX 1660 or an 8GB RX 5500 XT. It also calls for 16GB of system memory, DirectX 12 and an SSD. S-GAME associates those parts with 1080p at 30 frames per second when upscaling is enabled.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
That is a published starting point, not a promise that every computer with one of those parts will deliver identical frame times. Cooling, laptop power limits, background software, driver versions and the rest of a system can affect results.
What the recommended tier changes
The recommended row moves to a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X and a GTX 3060 Ti 8GB or RX 6700 XT 12GB. It keeps the 16GB RAM, DirectX 12 and SSD requirements, but raises the stated target to 1440p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled.
When comparing a potential upgrade, compare the complete tier rather than buying a faster graphics card while leaving a substantially weaker processor or insufficient memory. S-GAME’s table gives a CPU class, GPU model and VRAM amount together because each is part of the intended configuration.

- PCI-E X16 4.0 with 1410MHz gpu core clock and 1665MHz boost clock speeds to help meet the needs of demanding games.
- DPx3/HDMI 2.1 four digital I/O interfaces, support 8K resolution output, multi monitors to enjoy wider audio and video entertainment.
Ray tracing target
For its ray-tracing recommendation, S-GAME names an RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM and a target of 1080p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled. The announcement does not provide a separate CPU, RAM, DirectX or storage specification for this row. It should therefore be read as a graphics-feature target, not as a complete replacement for the baseline operating-system and storage requirements.
Path tracing target
Path tracing has a much higher graphics target: an RTX 5080 with 16GB of VRAM for 2160p at 60 FPS, again with upscaling enabled. S-GAME does not state separate processor, system-memory, API or SSD details for this tier. The 2160p figure is the display-resolution target; the use of upscaling means the game is not necessarily rendering every pixel at native 2160p internally.
How to interpret the frame-rate and resolution claims
Every resolution-and-frame-rate target in the published table says “with upscaling enabled.” Upscaling renders the game at a lower internal resolution and reconstructs the image for the selected output resolution. Consequently, “1080p/30,” “1440p/60” and “2160p/60” should not be interpreted as native-resolution guarantees.
- Minimum target: 1080p output at 30 FPS with upscaling.
- Recommended target: 1440p output at 60 FPS with upscaling.
- Ray-tracing target: 1080p output at 60 FPS with upscaling.
- Path-tracing target: 2160p output at 60 FPS with upscaling.
These are publisher requirements and targets, not independent benchmark results. No independently measured performance study is established by the available material, and the figures are not guarantees for every PC. A system that meets a row on paper may still need changes to quality settings, upscaling mode or other options after release.
Check whether your PC matches
Use this checklist before deciding whether an upgrade is necessary. It separates the facts S-GAME published from details that are still unknown.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Confirm Windows edition: Open Settings → System → About and verify a 64-bit installation of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Check the processor: In Settings → System → About, note the exact CPU model and compare it with the minimum or recommended processor named in the table. Do not compare only the i5, i7 or Ryzen branding; the generation and model number matter.
- Check graphics hardware and VRAM: Open Task Manager → Performance → GPU, or run
dxdiagand inspect the Display tab. Record the exact GPU model and dedicated memory, then compare both model and VRAM with the relevant row. - Check system memory: In Task Manager → Performance → Memory, verify that the PC has at least 16GB of RAM for the published baseline tiers.
- Verify DirectX 12: Run
dxdiag; the System tab reports the installed DirectX version. S-GAME lists DirectX 12 for the minimum and recommended rows. - Identify the game drive: Windows Settings → System → Storage shows available drives. The game requires an SSD, but S-GAME has not published a capacity or free-space figure.
If your PC falls between the named tiers, the table does not establish an exact expected frame rate. Treat the closest row as a comparison point and wait for final settings information or independent testing rather than assuming linear performance.

Choosing an upgrade path
Use the intended output and graphics features to decide what matters most.
| Your goal | Published reference point | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| 1080p at 30 FPS | Minimum tier with upscaling | CPU model, GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB class GPU, 16GB RAM and an SSD |
| 1440p at 60 FPS | Recommended tier with upscaling | Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X class CPU and RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or RX 6700 XT 12GB class GPU |
| 1080p at 60 FPS with ray tracing | Ray-tracing recommendation with upscaling | RTX 5060 8GB; other tier details are not separately stated |
| 2160p at 60 FPS with path tracing | Path-tracing recommendation with upscaling | RTX 5080 16GB; other tier details are not separately stated |
VRAM is part of the comparison: the published GPUs range from 6GB to 16GB. Do not treat a card with a similar product name but a different VRAM configuration as automatically equivalent. Likewise, a desktop card and a laptop GPU carrying a related name may have different power and performance characteristics; the announcement does not provide laptop-specific targets.
Storage information that is still missing
S-GAME explicitly requires an SSD for the minimum and recommended configurations, but it does not state how many gigabytes of free space are needed or whether a particular SSD interface is required. The ray-tracing and path-tracing rows also contain no separate storage details. Keep adequate room for the operating system, updates and temporary files, but do not infer an official capacity from the SSD requirement alone.
What PC players should expect at launch
PC players can choose between Steam and the Epic Games Store, while PS5 players have a separately identified console edition. The date information should be checked close to launch because the two PC storefronts currently display different calendar days: October 28 on Steam and October 29 on the S-GAME homepage and PlayStation page.
For hardware planning, start with the minimum or recommended baseline and then select the feature target that matches your display and graphics preferences. Ray tracing and path tracing are not interchangeable labels: S-GAME assigns them different GPUs and different output targets. Finally, treat all frame-rate figures as conditional targets using upscaling, not as independently verified promises.
