Google’s official wearable listings do not corroborate a product called “Fitbit Edge.” The verified nearby product is Google Pixel Watch 4, which has health sensors and published battery estimates; independent coverage also reports that its battery and screen can be replaced. Those facts apply to Pixel Watch 4—not to a Fitbit Edge.
Is Fitbit Edge a real Fitbit?
Google’s official Google and Fitbit smartwatch comparison lists Pixel Watch and Fitbit wearables, but the product name “Fitbit Edge” is not corroborated there. That absence does not prove a product could never exist; it means the name and claims in the headline are unverified by the official catalog available here. Check the original listing or announcement before relying on them.
The confirmed adjacent product is Google Pixel Watch 4. It is a Google smartwatch, not a model verified as “Fitbit Edge.” Google’s product listing also currently says the Fitbit app is now the Google Health app, so app naming may change over time.

What health features does Pixel Watch 4 have?
Google lists heart-rate, ECG-compatible electrical, blood-oxygen (SpO2), skin-temperature and cEDA sensors for Pixel Watch 4 in its official specifications. These are features of Pixel Watch 4, not evidence about a Fitbit Edge. Sensor readings from a consumer wearable should not be treated as a medical diagnosis.

What battery life and capacity does Pixel Watch 4 have?
Google publishes different figures by case size. The capacity figures are typical values; battery-life figures are manufacturer estimates, not independent test results.

Can you replace the Pixel Watch 4 battery?
Yahoo Tech’s coverage of Pixel Watch 4 reports that it is the first Pixel Watch designed for repair, including battery and screen replacement. This reporting concerns Pixel Watch 4 only. It does not verify a replaceable battery, a repair route, or user-replacement instructions for a Fitbit Edge. The available evidence also does not establish that battery replacement is a do-it-yourself procedure.
Will Pixel Watch 4 work with your phone?
Google says Pixel Watch 4 works with most phones running Android 11.0 or newer and requires a Google Account and the Google Pixel Watch app. These compatibility requirements belong to Pixel Watch 4; no compatibility information is verified for a product called Fitbit Edge.
