The available evidence does not establish that Exness is a scam. It does show why a reader should check the legal entity holding their account and use that entity’s official support and complaint route: Exness operates through multiple regulated entities, while online reports of withdrawal friction are individual anecdotes, not a measured complaint rate.
Is Exness regulated?
Exness lists several entities with regulatory authorizations. That is relevant when assessing the service, but the group-wide list does not tell you which entity holds your account or which regulator and complaint process apply to you. Exness says the entity for your account appears in the footer of your Personal Area. Check there first, then match that entity to the relevant regulator and its current terms. - Exness (SC) Ltd is listed as authorized by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as a securities dealer under license SD025.
- Exness B.V. is listed as authorized by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten under license 0003LSI.
- Exness (KE) Ltd is listed as authorized by Kenya’s Capital Markets Authority as a non-dealing online foreign-exchange broker under license 162.
- Exness (UK) Ltd is listed as FCA-authorized under register number 730729, and Exness (Cy) Ltd as CySEC-authorized under license 178/12. Exness states that these UK and Cyprus entities do not offer services to retail clients.
These are company-published descriptions of particular entities and authorizations. They do not establish that every reader can open an account with each entity, that every account receives the same protections, or that a specific withdrawal complaint is unfounded.

Some users have described withdrawal problems online. One Reddit poster said a card used for deposits could not be used for a withdrawal and that Exness then requested proof of ownership of a Skrill account. In another discussion, one person complained about slow withdrawals while another said a withdrawal arrived quickly. These are self-reported accounts, not independently verified investigations. No independent complaint-rate or withdrawal-delay statistic is established by these reports. In particular, a figure repeated in a user post about automated processing should not be treated as independently verified performance data without supporting methodology and context.
How do you get help with an Exness withdrawal?
- Confirm your account’s entity. Sign in to the Personal Area and check the footer. The entity matters because support and complaint procedures may differ.
- Open an official support ticket. Exness directs registered users to sign in, open the Support Hub, and submit a ticket. Its contact page says it will get back to users within 24 hours and lists support in 14 languages. This is the company’s stated response commitment, not an independently audited service level or a promise that the issue will be resolved within that time. Exness contact page.
- Describe the transaction clearly. Include the withdrawal date, amount, payment method, status shown in your account, and any request for additional verification. Keep the ticket reference and copies of relevant messages or receipts. Do not send account credentials or use unofficial contacts claiming they can release funds.
- Escalate under the correct entity’s written procedure. If support does not resolve the issue, follow the complaint policy for the entity shown in your Personal Area. Do not assume that one entity’s contact address or deadlines apply to another.
What is the formal complaint process?
The reviewed complaints policy is specifically for Exness (SC) Ltd and is dated July 2026. It recommends first contacting customer support through official email, live chat, telephone, or the Personal Area. The policy says the company will try to resolve a query immediately, and usually within 3–5 business days if it cannot be resolved at once. If the client remains dissatisfied, the policy directs a formal escalation to formal.complaints@exness.com. The policy also says that if additional time is required, the company will issue a written holding response and indicate when it will make further contact about the investigation and outcome. It states that communication with company employees or representatives through non-Exness official channels is not an official way to submit queries, issues, or complaints. These are statements in the policy, not independent findings about how every case is handled.
What risks should you weigh separately?
A withdrawal complaint and the risk of trading are different questions. Exness warns that its derivative products can involve substantial losses, potentially up to the funds in a trading account. That disclosure does not resolve a withdrawal dispute, but it is relevant when deciding whether the service and products fit your risk tolerance. How should you judge the evidence?
Regulatory authorization, user reports, and a company complaint policy each answer different questions. An authorization is tied to a legal entity and defined activity; it does not guarantee a particular account outcome. User posts can flag possible friction but lack the denominator needed to say whether problems are common. A published support commitment describes what the company says it will do, not an independently measured resolution rate.
If you are comparing brokers, compare the same details for each provider: the exact entity serving your country, whether it serves retail clients there, withdrawal and verification rules, the formal complaint route and deadlines, and the risks and jurisdiction limits of the products. The available evidence here does not support ranking Exness against competitors.
