No official source or reliable report in the available coverage confirms a Dice Throne project called SAGAS: The Crimson Code. Dice Throne’s September 2026 company update says the team is thinking more broadly about the game’s universe and identifies Dice Throne Nexus as what comes next, but it does not announce Crimson Code. Here’s what is confirmed—and what remains unknown.
Is SAGAS: The Crimson Code an official Dice Throne announcement?
It is not confirmed by the sources currently available. Neither Dice Throne’s September 2026 company update nor GamesRadar+’s October 6, 2026 coverage of the next installment names SAGAS: The Crimson Code. The claimed project’s creator, format, release date, and availability therefore remain unverified.
That does not establish that no such project exists; it means the announcement claim should not be treated as fact without a direct official confirmation or reliable reporting that identifies the project. In particular, there is no verified basis here for calling it an exclusive, naming a launch date, or describing it as a specific kind of game.

In its September 24, 2026 company update, Dice Throne described a broader interest in its universe—its heroes, worlds, people, stories, and new kinds of experiences. The update also identifies Dice Throne Nexus as next. It signals an expanded franchise outlook, but does not name Crimson Code or confirm a particular new format under that name.

Dice Throne Nexus is the reported next installment
GamesRadar+ reported on October 6, 2026 that Dice Throne Nexus was planned to launch on Kickstarter on October 13, 2026, and would feature four heroes. That is a report of a planned campaign date, not confirmation that the campaign launched or is currently available. Check the official Dice Throne update or the project’s campaign information for current status.
The accessory price is not a Crimson Code price
The September 24 company update says Dice Throne accessory packs are dropping to $19.99 and will include sleeves, acrylic tokens, and a mini-sculpt. That figure applies to those accessory packs; it is not a price for SAGAS: The Crimson Code, whose existence as a product is unconfirmed.

How can you try Dice Throne now?
Dice Throne is an existing physical tabletop game, and GamesRadar+ points to hero packs as one way to try it. The available information does not establish the contents, hero roster, standalone requirements, or current price and stock of any specific pack. Check the listing for the exact product and region before buying; a general search such as “Dice Throne board game” should not be mistaken for a Crimson Code listing.

Dice Throne has also described Dice Throne Digital as a separate adaptation for Apple, Android, Steam, and Meta, with crossplay. It is not evidence of a Crimson Code announcement, and the digital adaptation should not be confused with a physical tabletop release.

Where is Dice Throne distributed?
Board Game Wire reported in February 2026 that Universal Distribution became the exclusive distributor for Dice Throne products in the United States and Canada. This is trade reporting about distribution, not a guarantee that a particular item is in stock or available through every retailer. For a purchase, confirm the current product listing and regional availability with the retailer or Dice Throne’s official channels.

A direct Dice Throne announcement or reliable coverage explicitly identifying SAGAS: The Crimson Code would be needed to establish the project.
