Antigravity has scheduled an official announcement for October 20, 2026, at 2pm BST. Its teaser says “The A1 Becomes More,” but does not confirm a second drone. The reveal could be new hardware, a firmware or software expansion, an accessory, or a bundle. As of October 16, no new model name, price, specification sheet or regional availability has been published.
What Antigravity has officially announced
The Antigravity website currently shows an October 20 banner with the wording “The A1 Becomes More.” It also invites visitors to subscribe and says they can “unlock a complimentary Fast Charger with your A1 purchase when the new experience launches.” That is a scheduled reveal and a purchase promotion—not proof that Antigravity is about to release a replacement aircraft.
The company has not identified what “more” means. There is no confirmed aircraft name, launch price, technical specification, shipping date or list of supported countries for the October 20 item. Until Antigravity publishes those details, descriptions of a new drone, cellular module or successor model are speculation.

The announcement refers to “the A1,” rather than naming a new product. That wording leaves several possibilities open:
- A major software or firmware experience added to the existing aircraft.
- A new accessory or package that changes how the A1 is used.
- A bundle that includes the A1 and additional hardware, such as the promoted Fast Charger.
- A separate aircraft that is being introduced alongside the A1.
Antigravity’s A1 already has an unusually broad feature set. A new “experience” could therefore be an expansion of the existing platform rather than a new airframe. The company has not said which interpretation is correct.

What the Antigravity A1 is today
Insta360’s official announcement describes the A1 as “the world’s first drone with built-in 8K 360 capture.” A dual-lens camera records the scene around the aircraft, and stitching software removes the drone from both live and recorded footage. This differs from a conventional forward-facing camera: the pilot can decide the framing after capture instead of pointing the aircraft at one fixed view.
The A1 is designed to be flown with Vision goggles and a Grip controller. Antigravity’s FreeMotion technology allows a pilot to travel in one direction while looking elsewhere through the goggles. The aircraft also includes return-to-home and a payload detection system.

Software features already released before October 20

- Is there a new aircraft? Look for a distinct model name, airframe images and a separate specification sheet.
- What is included? Check whether the Vision goggles, Grip controller, batteries, charger and other accessories are bundled or sold separately.
- Does capture change? Compare the announced capture format with the A1’s existing 8K 360 system.
- Are flight and safety systems different? Check obstacle avoidance, return-to-home, payload detection and controller behavior.
- Where and when can it be bought? Confirm launch regions, shipping dates, warranty terms and the actual price rather than relying on teaser language.
- What exactly is the Fast Charger offer? Verify eligibility, purchase dates and whether the charger is included automatically or requires a subscription or redemption step.
What the Fast Charger promotion does—and does not—tell us
The only concrete commercial detail currently disclosed is a complimentary Fast Charger with an A1 purchase when the new experience launches. The banner does not state the charger’s charging specifications, its standalone value, the promotion’s end date or which regions qualify. It also does not establish that a new drone is being sold. Treat the offer as a launch incentive attached to an A1 purchase until full terms are published.
What remains unknown before the reveal
- Whether October 20 introduces a second aircraft, an A1 upgrade, an accessory or a bundle.
- The product name and complete technical specifications.
- Price, release date and regional availability.
- Compatibility with existing A1 goggles, controller, batteries and software.
- Terms and geographic limits of the complimentary Fast Charger offer.
At 249 g, the A1 may fall below registration thresholds in many jurisdictions, according to Insta360, but drone rules are set locally. A new aircraft or heavier package could change those obligations, so pilots should check the aviation authority in their country before flying.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Bottom line before October 20
There is a real Antigravity announcement scheduled for October 20 at 2pm BST, and “The A1 Becomes More” is the confirmed teaser. The evidence supports describing it as an A1-related reveal, not as a confirmed new drone. The existing A1 is a 249 g, 8K 360 aircraft with dual lenses, Vision goggles, a Grip controller, FreeMotion flight, obstacle-avoidance software and voice control. The company’s next announcement must provide the missing product, price and availability details.
