What “free to play” means for Acecraft
The US Apple App Store labels Acecraft: Sky Hero “Free · In-App Purchases.” Google Play likewise lists the game with in-app purchases and ads. The Apple listing cited here is a mobile storefront listing; it should not be treated as confirmation of the catalogue or prices on Android or Windows.
So, do you have to spend money to play Acecraft? The listings establish a free download, and the publisher has described ways to receive some resources through play. They do not say that a purchase is required to launch the game or establish that spending is necessary to progress. Google Play also labels the game as containing ads. If you are asking “How much are Acecraft packs and passes?” the most accurate answer is the amount shown to you when you view the offer in your own region and platform. Taxes, currency, storefront pricing, and catalogue changes can make a regional example a poor guide to your final displayed amount. Do not assume that the same numbered pack has the same price or contents everywhere. Nor should you assume that a purchase is guaranteed to provide a particular pilot simply because the game has recruitment systems. Identify the exact offer you are considering and check whether it lists fixed contents, a random result, or a combination of the two. If odds or other important terms are not visible to you, the cited store label cannot fill in the missing details.

Keep the distinction between a purchase and an in-game recruitment pull in mind. The publisher has described a recruitment banner and a guarantee after a certain number of pulls, but that announcement does not say how many pulls a paid offer provides, how much a pull costs, or what the current odds are. Do not calculate a real-money cost from the guarantee without current, item-specific terms.
What can you earn without paying?
The publisher has described ways to receive resources through play, but those examples do not prove that all content is free to obtain. In a December 1, 2025 Season 4 announcement, MOONTON said Co-Pilot Mode achievements and daily rewards offered Recruit Tickets, Gold, EXP, and Diamonds. The same announcement described the S-tier pilot Pris as available through the Skyward Recruit banner starting that day, with an Excellent-tier pilot guaranteed every 10 pulls.
That “every 10 pulls” statement describes the publisher’s announced guarantee for an Excellent-tier pilot; it is not a guarantee of Pris specifically, nor does it establish a guarantee of an S-tier pilot. It also does not tell you how many tickets a player can earn, how many pulls are available without purchases, or whether tickets and banner rules carry over to another event. Use the current banner description for those terms rather than treating a past announcement as a live offer.

Those details are historical examples from the Season 4 announcement, not confirmation that the banner or those exact rewards are still active. A guarantee tied to a number of recruitment pulls also does not, by itself, establish how many pulls a player can earn for free or whether every pilot is available through that route. The named resources show that some progression resources have been awarded through activities and daily rewards; they do not establish a complete free path to every goal.
In a September 3, 2025 Google Play developer response, Vizta Games said players could obtain free resources through newbie-series activities. That is the developer’s statement about one source of resources; it does not establish that every progression target or limited-time item can be reached without purchases. It is a reason to check the new-player activities in the game, not proof that they provide every resource or reward indefinitely.
For a free-to-play plan, check the current activity and reward menus for what you can claim, how long the activity runs, and whether a resource is actually usable toward your target. The publisher’s examples include tickets and currencies, but the cited announcements do not give a full schedule, quantities for each player, or a current catalogue of all earnable pilots. If your question is whether a particular pilot is free, verify that pilot’s current recruitment availability and the live rules for obtaining tickets or pulls.
How to decide whether an offer is worth buying
Offer names such as “pass,” “pack,” or “fund” are not enough to compare value. Before spending, assess the specific offer against the goal you have in mind:

Identify exactly what the offer grants and whether the contents are fixed or random. If the details or odds you need are not displayed, do not assume what you will receive. Distinguish a named resource or item from a chance to receive an item, and check whether the description puts conditions on claiming it.
- Check the timing. Determine whether the offer is a one-time pack or a pass or other offer tied to a period. The listing names purchase categories, but the offer screen is where you should verify its current terms and duration. If rewards are delivered over time, consider whether you will be able to use the offer during its active period; do not infer the schedule from the offer name alone.
- Compare with the free route. Check whether achievements, daily rewards, or other activities currently offer resources toward the same goal. The publisher’s past examples show that some resources have been earnable, but do not establish that a particular current offer can be replaced entirely by free play. Compare the same resource or reward, not just the number of items shown on two different offers.
- Confirm the local total before purchase. Use the price shown in your own storefront or in-game confirmation screen. Do not convert the Indonesia examples into a presumed price for another region. Make sure the displayed item and amount are what you intend to buy before authorizing it.
A fair comparison also separates immediate contents from possible future rewards and fixed items from random results. A more expensive offer is not automatically better value, and a lower price does not tell you whether it advances the goal you care about. To compare two current offers, you would need their live contents, terms, and your local prices—not just their category names.

The cited listing and publisher information is not enough to rank current offers or name a “best value”: that would require the current contents, terms, and local prices for the offers being compared. If the item description does not answer a question that matters to your decision, wait or skip the purchase rather than filling in the gap with assumptions.

Together, these facts support starting without paying, but they do not show that purchases are required, that spending is necessary to progress, or that every pilot and item is earnable for free.
Likewise, the available information does not establish the current global catalogue, current prices in every region, the odds attached to individual offers, or the share of the game’s content obtainable without spending. For a decision about a particular purchase, rely on the offer’s live in-game terms and the price shown by your local store rather than assuming that a past banner or another region’s listing still applies.
MOONTON’s December 1, 2025 article also attributed an estimate of USD 500,000 in revenue over the previous month to Sensor Tower. That figure is an estimated game-revenue figure for the month before the article, not the price of an offer, an estimate of what an individual player spends, or a current measure of spending. It cannot answer whether a specific purchase is worthwhile or whether a player needs to spend.
For that reason, the practical answer is narrower than a blanket “pay-to-win” or “everything is free” claim. Acecraft is free to download on the listed mobile storefronts and has disclosed paid offers. Some resources have been described as earnable through play, while Google Play warns that purchases include random items. The cited listings and announcements do not provide enough detail to judge every current offer or the free availability of every pilot.
