Specifications are manufacturer statements, not independent test results. Display figures, camera megapixels, processor names, and battery capacity alone do not establish which phone performs better in real-world use. Apple’s September 9, 2026 announcement, Apple’s technical specifications, and vivo India’s V70 Elite specifications provide the cited details.
How the displays differ
The V70 Elite has the larger listed screen: 6.59 inches compared with 6.3 inches on the iPhone 18 Pro. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz, but the panel descriptions differ: vivo specifies AMOLED, while Apple calls its panel OLED Super Retina XDR and identifies ProMotion. The available figures do not establish a directly comparable brightness result or which screen looks better.
Camera hardware: different strengths, no proven winner
Apple lists a 48MP main camera with variable aperture, alongside 48MP ultrawide and telephoto cameras. vivo lists two 50MP ZEISS cameras—main and telephoto, both with optical image stabilization—and an 8MP ultrawide. vivo also describes 3× optical zoom for the telephoto camera.

These are hardware and feature distinctions, not a photo-quality ranking. Megapixel count, stabilization, aperture, and zoom labels do not by themselves establish image quality across lighting, subjects, or video conditions. The cited information does not include matched independent camera tests for the two phones. vivo states that the V70 Elite supports 4K recording at 60fps with zoom clarity; that mode label alone does not establish video quality relative to the iPhone.
Battery and charging: what the figures do—and do not—show
vivo specifies a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery and 90W charging for the V70 Elite. Apple’s launch material describes battery-life improvements for the iPhone 18 Pro, but the cited information does not provide a directly comparable battery capacity or charging figure. Without matched battery-life and charging tests, these specifications cannot establish which phone lasts longer or recharges faster in practice.
