The iPhone 17 and OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G differ most in camera hardware, charging and software platform—but the Reno15 Pro’s specifications vary by region, and the available evidence does not establish a current, like-for-like price difference. The comparison below uses OPPO’s global 6.32-inch Reno15 Pro listing; check your country’s exact model and local prices before choosing.
Which Reno15 Pro does this comparison cover?
“Reno15 Pro” is not a single, region-neutral configuration. OPPO’s global product page describes a 6.32-inch model. Its regional pages identify different model codes, including CPH2811 in India and CPH2813 in the UAE, while the China page describes a larger 6.78-inch configuration. OPPO France also publishes a regional specifications page with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. These listings should not be treated as interchangeable.
The comparison table uses the global 6.32-inch Reno15 Pro 5G listing, not the Reno15 Pro Max or China’s 6.78-inch model. Confirm the model code and specifications on the page for the market where you intend to buy.

How the displays and design differ
On the cited versions, the screens are nearly the same size: 6.3 inches for the iPhone 17 and 6.32 inches for the global Reno15 Pro. Both offer high-refresh-rate display features: Apple specifies ProMotion, while OPPO lists adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. The China Reno15 Pro listing is 6.78 inches, so a buyer considering that model would be comparing a substantially larger phone.
Display size alone does not establish which screen looks better. Consider the exact regional model and your preference for phone size; the supplied specifications do not provide a controlled display-quality comparison.

Camera comparison: focal length matters more than megapixels
Apple lists two 48MP rear cameras: a main camera with an optical-quality 2x telephoto option and an ultra-wide camera. OPPO’s global listing pairs a 200MP main camera with a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom. On paper, the OPPO provides a longer optical-zoom reach, while both manufacturers emphasize multiple rear-camera perspectives.
Megapixel counts do not by themselves show which phone takes better photos. The available specifications do not establish comparative image quality, low-light performance, video quality or consistency. Choose based on the focal lengths and camera modes you actually use, and look for comparisons made with the exact regional models.

For selfies and group shots, Apple highlights Center Stage and its square-sensor front camera, with photos up to 18MP. OPPO lists a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera and an approximately 100-degree field of view. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent assessments of selfie quality.
Performance, software and battery: what the listed figures can tell you
The iPhone 17 uses Apple’s A19 chip and iOS 26. The Reno15 series is listed with ColorOS 16, and OPPO’s regional pages may give different chipset details. The available sources provide no comparable benchmark scores, so they do not support a claim that one phone is faster. They also do not establish how many years of software updates either specific model will receive.
Rank #4
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
OPPO publishes a 6200mAh capacity and 80W SUPERVOOC charging figure for the global Reno15 Pro. Apple describes iPhone 17 battery life as “all-day” but does not state a capacity or charging wattage in the cited announcement. Battery capacity and charging power alone cannot establish everyday endurance or charging time; no comparable battery test is available here.
Price difference: why there is no reliable figure yet
Apple’s India launch announcement listed the iPhone 17 at a starting price of INR 82,900 in 2025. That is a dated India launch price, not a current quote or a price that applies globally. A current, matched local price for the Reno15 Pro has not been established, so calculating a price difference would be misleading.

Before comparing prices, check both phones in the same country and on the same date. Match storage where possible, and make sure both figures use the same basis—for example, tax included or excluded and discounts applied or not applied. Also confirm that the OPPO listing is for the regional model you intend to buy.
Which phone should you choose?

- You prefer a dual 48MP rear-camera system with an ultra-wide option and optical-quality 2x telephoto framing.

- You value the stated 6200mAh battery capacity and 80W charging specification.

These are specification-based fit points, not a tested overall ranking. Check regional availability, exact configuration and current local pricing before deciding.
