As of October 12, 2026, Flipkart’s surfaced iPhone 17 Pro 256GB listing showed ₹1,34,900, with a displayed ₹4,000 bank offer and a ₹1,30,900 buy price. The available Amazon information does not establish a current iPhone 17 Pro price, so there is not enough evidence to name a live Amazon-versus-Flipkart winner. Compare the exact configuration and your final checkout amount before buying.
Amazon vs Flipkart: what the available prices show
The figures below are dated snapshots, not guaranteed checkout quotes. The Flipkart and Apple amounts were retrieved on October 12, 2026. Amazon’s model-specific figure is from a January 2026 sale and is historical.

Flipkart’s displayed buy price is ₹19,000 below Apple’s listed direct price, but that is not a like-for-like promise about every shopper’s checkout: the Flipkart figure includes a displayed bank offer whose applicability depends on the payment method and current terms. The Amazon announcement cannot support a current numerical comparison.
What Amazon’s sale announcement does—and does not—confirm
Amazon India’s Great Indian Festival announcement describes a 10% SBI card discount and unlimited 5% Amazon Pay ICICI cashback for Prime members, as well as no-cost EMI and exchange as sale mechanics. It does not show that each applies to the iPhone 17 Pro, nor does it establish that offers stack on this listing. Check the live product page and final payment screen for eligibility.

Amazon did advertise the iPhone 17 Pro at ₹1,25,400 during its January 2026 Great Republic Day Sale, with the figure including a ₹3,000 eligible bank discount and a ₹6,500 coupon. How to compare the actual checkout prices
- Match the configuration. Compare iPhone 17 Pro with iPhone 17 Pro, and 256GB with 256GB. Keep colour consistent where possible; do not compare a headline price for a different capacity.
- Record the price before trade-in. Note the listed price and any unconditional reduction separately from exchange credit. The Flipkart snapshot showed ₹1,34,900 before its displayed bank offer.
- Verify each payment offer. Check the eligible card or bank, whether the reduction is instant or cashback, any EMI requirement, and whether coupons or other offers can be combined. Do not assume a sale-wide offer applies to this phone.
- Enter your pincode and old phone details. Exchange eligibility and valuation can depend on location, device model and condition. Record the quote for your own phone rather than relying on the maximum shown on a product page.
- Compare the final payment screen. Check the seller, stock and delivery availability, applicable fees, warranty and return terms, and the amount payable after your chosen card and exchange. Treat that final amount—not the promotional headline—as the price to compare.
- Evaluate financing by total cost. For EMI, compare the total payable and applicable terms, not only the monthly installment or the “no-cost EMI” label.
Why exchange headlines are not cash prices
Flipkart’s retrieved listing showed exchange of up to ₹65,150, subject to pincode availability. That is a ceiling, not an automatic discount. The amount offered to an individual buyer depends on the eligible old device and its condition.

A separate October 8, 2026 Moneycontrol report calculated an effective price of ₹79,750 by combining a ₹1,34,900 list price, up to ₹51,150 in exchange discount, and a ₹4,000 Flipkart Axis Bank discount. That is a conditional maximum-exchange calculation, not the price available to every buyer; the report says the exchange value depends on the traded-in phone and its condition. Which retailer is cheaper?
On the dated figures available, Flipkart has a specific displayed 256GB price and bank-offer amount; the available Amazon announcement does not establish a current iPhone 17 Pro listing price. That is not enough to conclude which retailer is cheaper today. To decide, compare both live 256GB listings using the same payment method and pincode, and use each final checkout amount without exchange first.
