The iPhone 17 Pro Max is the premium option; the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G costs less in the cited India listings and advertises a higher maximum refresh rate and faster charging. They are not direct equals: Apple’s model offers up to 2TB of storage and an IP68 rating, while Infinix lists up to 256GB and IP64. The Infinix price below is a page display captured on October 7, 2026—not a guaranteed current offer.
iPhone 17 Pro Max vs Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G: specifications

What is the price difference in India?
Using the listed 256GB iPhone price of ₹149,900 and the Infinix sale price of ₹39,999 displayed on October 7, 2026, the arithmetic difference is ₹109,901. This compares the iPhone’s 256GB configuration with the Infinix page’s displayed sale price; it is not a like-for-like storage comparison or a permanent price gap.
#1 Best Overall
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- When you receive the phone, insert a SIM card from a compatible carrier. Then, turn it on, connect to Wi-Fi, and follow the on screen prompts to activate service.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charger and charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
Infinix’s product-page display also showed a regular price of ₹54,999, while its search result showed a different offer: ₹35,999 against ₹49,999. That discrepancy illustrates why its sale price should be checked at checkout. Apple’s India launch announcement listed a starting price of ₹149,900, and its store page lists ₹149,900 for 256GB; verify live listings and configuration before buying.
Keep comparisons within one market and currency. Apple’s UK newsroom announcement of September 9, 2025, said the iPhone 17 Pro Max started at £1,199 in the UK. That launch price is not directly comparable with Indian retail prices without accounting for market, taxes, currency and timing.

Which phone fits your priorities?
Choose the iPhone if storage ceiling or Apple’s ecosystem matters most
The iPhone offers configurations up to 2TB, compared with the 256GB maximum listed for the Infinix. Its listed display is also slightly larger. Choose based on your preferred operating system, apps and ecosystem rather than assuming one platform is objectively better. Apple’s up-to-39-hour video-playback figure is a manufacturer rating; it is not a matched battery-life test against the Infinix’s 6500mAh capacity.
Consider the Infinix if its listed features and current price suit you
Infinix advertises a 144Hz maximum refresh rate, 6500mAh battery, up to 90W wired charging and up to 30W wireless charging. Those are manufacturer specifications, not proof of better everyday battery life, charging time in every setup or overall performance. The lower India sale price shown on the cited date may make it a more affordable purchase, but check the live offer and exact configuration.

Do not decide on camera quality from megapixels alone
The published camera specifications differ, but they do not settle which phone takes better photos or video. The available materials do not provide a matched camera test, so weigh camera performance only with independent comparisons relevant to the kinds of photos and video you take.

- Water and dust: IP68 and IP64 indicate different levels of ingress protection; neither phone should be called waterproof. Apple’s iPhone rating is for a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529, subject to Apple’s caveats. Infinix warns that resistance can deteriorate and that submersion damage is not covered.
- Network compatibility: Confirm the precise model variant and your carrier’s supported bands before purchase. A manufacturer’s 5G or 5.5G listing does not guarantee availability on every network or in every region.
- Real-world performance and battery: The cited materials do not establish a matched chipset benchmark, sustained-performance test or battery-endurance comparison. Do not infer a winner from refresh rate, battery capacity or Apple’s video-playback rating alone.
- Software support: The cited materials do not establish comparable update-support durations for these two models. Check each manufacturer’s current policy for your region if update longevity is a deciding factor.
- Ownership costs: Check local warranty, service access, repair terms and what accessories are included for the exact market and seller. The available price examples do not establish total cost of ownership.
Sources and price context
Manufacturer specifications and price examples are available from Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max technical specifications, Infinix India’s Note 60 Pro page, Apple India’s iPhone store, and Apple’s September 9, 2025 India launch announcement. Apple’s UK announcement provides launch pricing for that market. Treat manufacturer figures as published specifications or ratings, not independent comparative results.
