In India, the listed price for the iPhone 16 with 128GB is ₹89,900, while vivo lists the X200T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at ₹59,999—a ₹29,901 difference between these configurations. That is not a like-for-like storage comparison, and vivo’s listing showed the X200T out of stock when checked. Choose by what matters more: the X200T’s larger 120Hz display, dedicated telephoto camera and faster specified charging, or the iPhone 16’s smaller, lighter build and Apple platform.
India price difference: ₹29,901, but the configurations differ
Apple India lists the iPhone 16 with 128GB storage for ₹89,900. The vivo India store lists the X200T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for ₹59,999. The difference between those listed prices is ₹29,901, with the iPhone costing more. These are manufacturer-listed prices, not guaranteed checkout prices; discounts, exchange or bank offers, and stock can change what a buyer pays.
The comparison also pairs different storage capacities: the listed vivo configuration has twice the storage of the iPhone configuration. vivo’s selected 12GB/256GB item showed out of stock when its store page was accessed, so check current availability before deciding. The ₹59,999 figure is the store’s listed price, not a claim about the lowest available price or a promise of inventory. Apple’s installment and trade-in offers are conditional and are not included in the base-price calculation.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the vivo X200T if you want a larger screen and more camera hardware
- Its 6.67-inch display is larger than the iPhone’s 6.1-inch screen, and vivo specifies a 120Hz refresh rate.
- It has a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera as well as separate 50MP main and ultrawide cameras.
- Its stated 90W wired and 40W wireless charging rates are higher than the charging details provided in the iPhone comparison specifications.
- The cited 12GB/256GB listing costs less than the iPhone 16 128GB listing, while including more listed storage. Confirm stock and checkout price first.
Choose the iPhone 16 if compact size and Apple continuity matter more
- At 170g and 6.1 inches, it is the smaller and lighter option on the stated specifications.
- It runs iOS and uses Apple’s A18 chip. If your apps, devices, services or existing purchases are already tied to Apple’s platform, that may outweigh the hardware differences.
- Apple specifies a 48MP main camera and 12MP ultrawide, with a 2x telephoto option enabled by the main sensor. That is different hardware from a dedicated telephoto module; the specifications alone do not determine image quality.
How the screens and sizes compare
The X200T is the better fit on paper for someone who wants more display area for video, reading or multitasking: its AMOLED panel measures 6.67 inches diagonally and has a stated 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 16’s 6.1-inch OLED panel has a listed resolution of 2556 × 1179 and pixel density of 460 ppi; vivo lists 2800 × 1260 for the X200T.

- Titanium frame combines strength and lightness, giving the iPhone 16 Pro a premium feel while reducing weight for prolonged daily use. The polished edges and textured back enhance grip and handling, making it easier to use during long calls, gaming sessions, or when capturing photos and videos on the move.
The larger vivo screen comes with a heavier phone. The iPhone weighs 170g; the X200T is listed at 203g in Stellar Black and 205g in Seaside Lilac. If one-handed use or carrying weight is a priority, those stated dimensions and weights favor the iPhone.

The rear-camera layouts are not equivalent. vivo lists three 50MP rear cameras on the X200T, including a dedicated ZEISS telephoto camera with a 70mm-equivalent focal length. Apple lists a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera for the iPhone 16; its 2x telephoto option is enabled by the main sensor rather than a separate telephoto module.

That distinction describes hardware, not a photo-quality verdict. The available specifications do not establish which phone produces better images in daylight, low light, portrait mode or zoom. vivo’s 100× zoom and other camera-feature claims are manufacturer claims, not evidence of superiority over the iPhone.
Battery and charging: the published figures are not a head-to-head test
Apple estimates up to 22 hours of video playback and up to 18 hours of streamed-video playback for the iPhone 16. vivo specifies a 6200mAh typical-capacity battery for the X200T, with 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless FlashCharge. These figures describe different things: Apple gives playback estimates, while vivo gives battery capacity and charging rates. They cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

Software, processor and durability
Platform and processor
The iPhone 16 uses Apple’s A18, listed with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, and runs iOS. Apple identifies Apple Intelligence and Siri features in its specifications. The X200T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ with an 8-core CPU and runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Core counts alone are not a meaningful performance comparison, and no comparable benchmark results are established here. Your preferred operating system and compatibility with the apps and services you use are more useful decision factors than the chip labels alone.
Water and dust ratings
Apple lists IP68 for the iPhone 16, with a maximum depth of 6m for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the X200T under IEC 60529 and cautions that resistance can reduce with wear. These ratings describe conditions tied to a standard; neither makes a phone damage-proof or guarantees protection after use, impact or repair.

What the listed prices do—and do not—tell you
The ₹29,901 gap is arithmetic based on Apple India’s ₹89,900 listing for the iPhone 16 128GB and vivo India’s ₹59,999 listing for the X200T 12GB/256GB, checked on 7 October 2026.
