The iPhone 16 is the smaller, lighter option, while the vivo X200 offers a larger 120Hz display and a higher-capacity battery on the specified overseas model. There is no defensible single price difference without choosing a country, storage configuration, seller, and price date: the available official prices cover vivo’s China models, while Apple’s cited specifications do not provide a comparable current retail price.

Specifications are manufacturer claims, not results from a controlled side-by-side test. The screen figures describe resolution and refresh rate, not comparative brightness or image quality. Likewise, Apple’s video playback estimates and vivo’s battery capacity are different measures and cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Apple’s iPhone 16 technical specifications and vivo’s global X200 specifications provide the published details.
How the screen, size, and weight differ
iPhone 16: smaller and lighter
At 6.1 inches and 170g, the iPhone 16 has the more compact listed footprint. Its OLED panel is specified at 2556 × 1179 pixels and 460 ppi. Those figures may appeal if you want a phone that is easier to carry or prefer a smaller display.
vivo X200: larger and faster-refreshing
The X200’s 6.67-inch AMOLED panel has a listed 2800 × 1260 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is also heavier: vivo lists 197g for the black version and 202g for the other listed colors, compared with Apple’s 170g. Choose based on the screen size and handling you prefer; the published specifications alone do not determine which display looks better.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.1" Screen size
- iOS Operating System
- 128 GB Flash Memory
Operating systems and performance
The iPhone 16 uses Apple’s iOS platform and A18 chip, specified with a six-core CPU, five-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. The cited global X200 page lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. These platform and chip details identify what each phone runs, but they are not a benchmark comparison. Consider app compatibility, the devices and services you already use, and your preferred operating system before choosing.
Camera and battery: what the specifications establish
Camera hardware
Apple lists a 48MP main camera that enables a 12MP 2x telephoto option, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The available X200 specification results do not provide a complete set of directly comparable camera details. That is not enough evidence to declare a camera-quality winner; image processing, video performance, and results in different lighting require comparative testing.
Rank #2
- Titanium frame combines strength and lightness, giving the iPhone 16 Pro a premium feel while reducing weight for prolonged daily use. The polished edges and textured back enhance grip and handling, making it easier to use during long calls, gaming sessions, or when capturing photos and videos on the move.
Battery and charging
For the specified overseas X200 model, excluding Austria, vivo lists a typical 5800mAh battery and charging up to 90W. Apple gives playback estimates of up to 22 hours for video and up to 18 hours for streamed video, and says fast charging can reach 50% in around 30 minutes with the specified adapter conditions. Capacity, playback estimates, and charging wattage are not interchangeable measures, so they do not establish comparative real-world endurance or charging time. Check the exact regional model and charging requirements when evaluating the X200.
Price difference: why there is no single fair figure
vivo’s China product page lists suggested retail prices for four China configurations. These are China-market prices associated with the page’s October 2024 launch information, not current prices in every country. Apple’s cited iPhone 16 support information confirms storage capacities but does not establish a current comparable retail price. A direct statement that one phone is cheaper by a specific amount would therefore need a country and matched, contemporaneous prices.

| 12GB + 512GB | CNY 4,699 |
| 16GB + 512GB | CNY 4,999 |

The figures above are vivo China’s suggested prices for the listed configurations, not a like-for-like comparison with a current iPhone 16 retail offer. For a useful local comparison, choose the same country and, where available, comparable storage capacity; then check the seller, exact regional model, price date, and whether each figure is a launch or suggested price or a current street price. vivo’s China X200 product page lists those China configurations and prices. Apple’s iPhone 16 technical specifications and capacity information does not supply a matching current price here.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Choose around size: the iPhone 16 is listed at 6.1 inches and 170g; the X200 is 6.67 inches and weighs 197g or 202g depending on listed color.
- Choose around screen refresh: vivo specifies 120Hz for the X200. Apple’s cited iPhone 16 specifications give the OLED display resolution and pixel density but do not provide a comparable refresh-rate figure in the cited material.
- Choose around software: decide whether iOS or the cited X200 global configuration’s Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 better suits your apps and existing devices.
- Choose around camera or battery results: treat the listed hardware and manufacturer estimates as starting points, not proof of a quality or endurance winner. Look for independent, comparable testing against the exact models sold in your region.
- Choose around price and availability: compare current local offers for the capacities and variants actually sold where you live, rather than using China suggested prices as a global price comparison.
What to check before buying an X200 across regions
Regional specifications and availability matter, particularly if you are considering an imported phone. Before purchase, verify the exact X200 variant, local cellular-band compatibility, warranty coverage, software version, seller, and charging requirements. vivo’s stated 5800mAh typical capacity applies to specified overseas markets except Austria, and the China configurations and suggested prices should not be assumed to describe another market’s model.
