The iQOO 15 has the larger, faster-refreshing display and the higher stated battery capacity and wired-charging rate; the iPhone 16 is a smaller iOS phone. In India, Apple’s buy page listed the iPhone 16 128 GB at ₹89,900 on 7 October 2026, but the official iQOO pages reviewed do not establish a current India price. That means a reliable current price difference cannot be calculated from these figures alone.
How the iPhone 16 and iQOO 15 compare
The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Display resolution and refresh rate do not, by themselves, establish which screen looks better; similarly, listed camera megapixels and battery capacity do not prove real-world image quality or battery life.
| Specification | Apple iPhone 16 | iQOO 15 |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.1-inch OLED, 2556 × 1179 resolution | 6.85-inch AMOLED, 3168 × 1440 resolution, up to 144 Hz |
| Chip and software | A18 chip; iOS | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5; Android 16 with OriginOS 6 |
| Stated battery capacity | Apple’s cited specification page does not state a comparable mAh capacity | 7000 mAh typical capacity |
| Wired charging | Not stated in the cited iPhone 16 specification details | 100 W, as listed by iQOO |
| Rear cameras | 48 MP Fusion main camera with a 2× Telephoto option, plus a new Ultra Wide camera, as described in Apple’s launch announcement | 50 MP main, 50 MP wide-angle, and 50 MP periscope cameras |
| Front camera | Not stated in the cited comparison details | 32 MP |
| India price evidence | ₹89,900 for 128 GB on Apple India’s buy page, observed 7 October 2026; Apple’s September 2024 launch announcement stated a starting price of INR 79,900 | A current India retail price was not established by the official iQOO pages reviewed |
Screen size and refresh rate
The iQOO 15’s 6.85-inch display is larger than the iPhone 16’s 6.1-inch screen, and iQOO specifies a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Apple lists the iPhone 16’s OLED resolution as 2556 × 1179; iQOO lists 3168 × 1440 for its AMOLED display. Choose based on the size and refresh-rate profile you want, rather than treating resolution or panel labels alone as a complete measure of display quality. iQOO’s specifications and Apple’s iPhone 16 specifications provide the cited figures.

Battery capacity and charging
iQOO lists a typical battery capacity of 7000 mAh and 100 W charging. Apple’s cited iPhone 16 specification page does not give a comparable mAh figure, so the specifications do not support a direct capacity comparison or a prediction of which phone lasts longer. Actual runtime depends on use and conditions; no controlled battery-life test is established here.

Camera systems are different
iQOO lists three 50 MP rear cameras, including a periscope camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Apple’s launch description instead identifies a 48 MP Fusion main camera with a 2× Telephoto option and a new Ultra Wide camera. These configurations are not directly ranked by megapixel count: the supplied manufacturer information does not establish comparative photo or video quality.
Operating system and configuration
The iPhone 16 runs iOS with Apple’s A18 chip; iQOO lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. These are vendor-stated platform and processor details, not benchmark results. Consider which operating system and ecosystem you already use, as well as the exact storage configuration and local availability. The cited information does not establish a complete, directly comparable storage lineup for both phones.

What is the price difference in India?
Apple India’s buy page listed the 128 GB iPhone 16 at ₹89,900 when checked on 7 October 2026. Apple’s September 2024 launch announcement gave a different figure: a starting price of INR 79,900. The first is a live page-listed price observed in 2026; the second is the launch starting price from 2024, so they should not be treated as the same dated price. Apple’s India buy page and Apple’s 2024 launch announcement are the sources for those figures.
No current iQOO India price was verified on the official pages used for this comparison. Consequently, the current India price gap is not confirmed. For a useful like-for-like comparison, check current local listings for the same market, storage configuration, seller, and date; prices and stock can change.

What comes in the box?
Apple says the iPhone 16 box includes a USB-C charge cable, but not a power adapter or EarPods. iQOO lists a charger, phone case, and pre-applied protective film among the box contents. Packaging can vary by market, so confirm what is included with the specific regional model you are buying. Apple’s specifications page and iQOO’s specifications page list these contents.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the iQOO 15 if you prioritize a larger screen, a refresh rate listed up to 144 Hz, a stated 7000 mAh typical battery, and 100 W wired charging.
- Consider the iPhone 16 if you want iOS and prefer a smaller 6.1-inch phone.
- Check before buying either for the exact local storage configuration, price, stock, and box contents. The specifications alone do not establish a measured performance, camera-quality, or battery-life winner.
