The iPhone 16 Pro and base vivo X300 are close in screen size but differ in platform, camera design, battery specifications and regional pricing. On paper, vivo lists a larger battery and faster charging; the available price figures suggest the iPhone costs more in India, but they are indicative prices and do not confirm matched storage configurations.

The advertised display diagonals are nearly identical: 6.3 inches for the iPhone and 6.31 inches for the X300. Both list 460 pixels per inch and refresh rates up to 120Hz. Their listed pixel dimensions differ slightly, and vivo specifies an adaptive range beginning at 1Hz. These figures describe manufacturer specifications, not a side-by-side assessment of brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility. Brightness claims should not be compared unless their measurement methods and conditions match.
#1 Best Overall
- Titanium frame combines strength and lightness, giving the iPhone 16 Pro a premium feel while reducing weight for prolonged daily use. The polished edges and textured back enhance grip and handling, making it easier to use during long calls, gaming sessions, or when capturing photos and videos on the move.
The vivo is 9g lighter according to the manufacturers’ listed weights. It is also slightly taller, wider and thinner on paper. Actual hand feel depends on more than dimensions, including case choice and how each phone’s weight is distributed.
Camera specifications: resolution is not a photo-quality verdict
The camera systems take different approaches. Apple specifies a 48MP main Fusion camera, a 48MP Ultra Wide and a 12MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom in. It also lists 2x optical zoom out and a 10x optical zoom range. Its video capabilities include 4K Dolby Vision up to 120 frames per second on the Fusion camera, and external ProRes recording up to 4K/120 fps.

vivo lists a 200MP main rear camera alongside two 50MP rear cameras and a 50MP front camera. Those megapixel counts do not establish that the X300 will produce better photos: sensor size, optics, stabilization, processing, lighting and the particular camera used all affect results. The specifications cited here do not provide a controlled, independent comparison of photos or video.

vivo’s Philippines page markets a 2.35x ZEISS telephoto extender and professional grip kit as X300 Pro accessories. That does not confirm compatibility with the base X300, so do not assume those add-ons fit this model.
Battery and charging: what the listed numbers do and do not show
vivo lists the X300 battery as 6040mAh typical capacity and 5925mAh rated capacity, with 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. The cited Apple specifications do not provide a directly comparable iPhone battery capacity or a real-world endurance result. Battery capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer: display use, software, signal conditions and workload affect runtime. Charging figures also describe rated capability, not a matched charging-time test.

Price difference by market
There is no universal price gap: country, date, storage, seller, warranty and import status all matter. The available figures are regional examples, not a like-for-like global comparison.

|---|---|---|---|
| India; Smartprix page last updated September 22, 2026 | ₹103,990 indicative lowest price | ₹75,999 indicative lowest price | ₹27,991, with the iPhone higher |

Before buying, check prices for the same storage tier in your country and confirm the seller, local warranty, stock and whether the device is an authorized local model or an import. The available figures do not establish a current, same-market official price pair for both phones.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the iPhone 16 Pro if you want iOS, Apple’s listed ProRes and Dolby Vision video options, or its specified 5x optical telephoto camera.
- Consider the vivo X300 if you prefer Android with OriginOS 6 and value its listed high-resolution camera specifications, larger stated battery capacity or higher stated charging rates.
- Compare the exact local offers if price is decisive. The India snapshot points to a lower indicative price for the X300, but the storage match is unconfirmed and prices may change.
- Choose by ecosystem as well as hardware: iOS and Android differ in software experience and services. Neither platform is a universal winner, and the cited specifications do not measure day-to-day preference or performance.
These are factors to weigh, not test-based verdicts. The evidence here supports comparing specifications and dated prices, but not declaring a winner for camera quality, battery life or overall speed.
