The vivo V70 Elite offers a larger 120 Hz-capable screen, a dedicated telephoto camera, two physical SIM slots and 90 W wired charging. The iPhone 15 is the smaller iOS option, with Apple’s A16 Bionic chip, MagSafe and a 48 MP main camera. In India, the V70 Elite launched at ₹51,999–₹61,999 depending on configuration, but current seller prices and stock vary, so there is no reliable single price difference without matching storage and checking a live listing.

What the specification differences mean in daily use
Screen size and refresh rate
The vivo’s 6.59-inch display is larger than the iPhone’s 6.1-inch display, and its listed refresh rate reaches 120 Hz rather than the 60 Hz Apple lists for iPhone 15. That points to a larger viewing area and support for smoother motion on the vivo, while the iPhone is the more compact choice. Display labels and refresh-rate figures alone do not establish which screen looks better overall.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.1inch Super Retina XDR display. Aluminum with color-infused glass back. Ring/Silent switch
- Dynamic Island. A magical way to interact with iPhone. A16 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU
- Advanced dual-camera system. 48MP Main | Ultra Wide. Super-high-resolution photos (24MP and 48MP). Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control. 4X optical zoom range
- Emergency SOS via satellite. Crash Detection. Roadside Assistance via satellite
- Up to 26 hours video playback. USB C, Supports USB 2. Face ID
Camera hardware
The V70 Elite adds a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera to its 50 MP main and 8 MP ultra-wide rear cameras. The iPhone 15 has a 48 MP main and 12 MP Ultra Wide camera system, with Apple describing 2× options as optical-quality zoom. If you specifically want a separate telephoto module, the vivo has one; camera counts and megapixel ratings do not establish which phone takes better photos.
Battery and charging
The manufacturers report different kinds of battery information: vivo lists a 6500 mAh typical capacity and 90 W charging, while Apple gives an up-to-20-hour video-playback rating and MagSafe wireless charging up to 15 W when used with a 20 W or higher adapter. Capacity and a manufacturer’s playback rating are not comparable endurance measurements, so these figures cannot determine which phone lasts longer in real-world use.
Rank #2
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
SIM, storage and software
The vivo has two physical nano-SIM slots. Apple’s India comparison lists dual-SIM configurations using eSIM, including two active eSIMs or a nano-SIM with an eSIM; eSIM availability and support depend on the carrier. For storage, the iPhone starts at 128 GB, whereas the V70 Elite starts at 256 GB. Compare the same capacity tier when evaluating price.

Apple’s cited comparison does not establish an iPhone 15 end-of-support date, so the available figures do not support a direct promise about which phone will receive updates longer.

Why a single price gap can mislead
At research access on October 7, 2026, 91mobiles displayed a V70 Elite price of ₹66,999 at Amazon and an iPhone 15 price of ₹63,999 at Flipkart—a displayed difference of ₹3,000. That is a seller-specific snapshot, not a like-for-like comparison: the storage configurations, offers and availability may differ. The vivo store page for the 12 GB + 256 GB Authentic Black version displayed ₹71,999 against an MRP of ₹89,999 and marked it “Out of stock.” Check the live listing, seller, storage variant and checkout price before deciding. Choose the vivo V70 Elite if
- You prefer a larger display with a listed refresh rate up to 120 Hz.
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera as part of the rear-camera hardware.
- You need two physical nano-SIM slots.
- You prioritize the listed 6500 mAh typical battery capacity and 90 W charging specifications.
- You want at least 256 GB of storage and are comfortable with Android 16 and OriginOS 6.
Choose the iPhone 15 if
- You want a smaller 6.1-inch phone and prefer iOS or Apple’s ecosystem.
- You value MagSafe wireless charging and Apple’s stated video-playback rating.
- You want a 128 GB storage option or the choice of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.
- Your SIM setup works with nano-SIM and eSIM or eSIM options supported by your carrier.
For either phone, make the final price comparison at the same storage capacity and check the exact configuration and seller. The specifications establish different strengths, but they do not establish a tested winner for camera quality, speed or battery life.
