The iPhone 15 and vivo S2 5G suit different priorities: comparison listings give the vivo a larger, faster-refreshing screen and a lower listed price, while Apple documents the iPhone 15’s A16 Bionic chip and camera and video features. India prices vary by seller and stock, and the vivo specifications below are comparison-site claims rather than confirmed manufacturer specifications.
At a glance: what separates the phones
| Feature | Apple iPhone 15 | vivo S2 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR; comparison listing says 60Hz | 6.83-inch AMOLED; comparison listings say 120Hz |
| Processor | A16 Bionic: Apple specifies a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine | MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo, according to comparison listings |
| Rear cameras | 48MP main and 12MP ultra-wide, according to comparison listing | 50MP main and 2MP depth, according to comparison listing |
| Front camera | 12MP, according to comparison listing; Apple describes TrueDepth camera features | 32MP, according to comparison listings |
| Battery capacity | 3,349mAh listed by a comparison site; Apple also publishes a video-playback claim | 7,050mAh listed by comparison sites and a user post |
| Storage entry compared | 128GB | 128GB |
Apple’s chip and camera/video descriptions are from its India iPhone comparison page. The vivo hardware details in this table come from comparison listings, not an official vivo specification sheet, so confirm the exact model and regional SKU before relying on them. vivo’s security page lists S2 and S2 5G as supported model names, but does not verify these hardware specifications.

Which screen is a better fit?
The listed screen difference is substantial: 6.1 inches at 60Hz for iPhone 15 versus 6.83 inches at 120Hz for vivo S2 5G. A larger panel can make media and text feel more spacious; a higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animation look smoother. Those are feature-based expectations, not findings from a side-by-side test. If you prefer a phone that is easier to use one-handed, the iPhone’s smaller listed screen may be more appealing. Choose based on how you use and hold a phone, not screen size alone.
Performance and software: Apple’s chip claim versus a listed vivo processor
Apple identifies the iPhone 15 processor as A16 Bionic, with a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. Comparison listings name the vivo S2 5G’s processor as MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo. These specifications do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use: no matched performance testing is available here, and clock speeds or chip names alone are not a reliable substitute for such testing.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.1inch Super Retina XDR display. Aluminum with color-infused glass back. Ring/Silent switch
- Dynamic Island. A magical way to interact with iPhone. A16 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU
- Advanced dual-camera system. 48MP Main | Ultra Wide. Super-high-resolution photos (24MP and 48MP). Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control. 4X optical zoom range
- Emergency SOS via satellite. Crash Detection. Roadside Assistance via satellite
- Up to 26 hours video playback. USB C, Supports USB 2. Face ID
The operating systems and ecosystem preferences also differ. The available information does not establish equivalent long-term software-support policies for the two models. Check the exact device’s software-support terms, local warranty and service coverage before buying, particularly if you plan to keep it for several years.
Camera specifications do not settle photo quality
Comparison listings describe the iPhone 15 as having a 48MP main and 12MP ultra-wide rear camera, plus a 12MP front camera. They list a 50MP main and 2MP depth rear arrangement and a 32MP front camera for the vivo S2 5G. Apple separately documents camera and video capabilities on its India comparison page. Megapixel counts alone do not show how well cameras handle detail, moving subjects, low light, skin tones or video; no controlled camera comparison is available to establish a winner.

- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
Battery capacity is not a runtime comparison
Comparison sources list 3,349mAh for the iPhone 15 and 7,050mAh for the vivo S2 5G. These are capacity figures, not matched-use battery-life results, and the vivo number has not been confirmed against an official product sheet here. Apple publishes a video-playback claim for the iPhone 15; that is the manufacturer’s stated metric, not a promise of the runtime every owner will get. No side-by-side battery test establishes which lasts longer in comparable use.

The comparison entries include 128GB versions of both phones, but the prices above are not a confirmed, matched pair of offers from the same seller, date, condition and stock status. Do not treat their difference as guaranteed savings or an official launch-price comparison. Check the exact storage variant, seller, condition, availability, warranty and final checkout amount before deciding. The available listings are 91mobiles, Smartprix, Gadgets 360 and MySmartPrice.

Consider the iPhone 15 if
- You prefer its 6.1-inch listed display size and already use Apple devices or services.
- You value the camera and video capabilities Apple documents and want the A16 Bionic platform.
- You have verified the price, condition and seller for the specific storage configuration you want.
Consider the vivo S2 5G if
- You prefer the larger 6.83-inch screen and the 120Hz refresh rate listed by comparison sites.
- You are comfortable verifying the exact vivo model, regional specifications, warranty and local service options before purchase.
- The final price for the variant and seller you have checked fits your budget.
Neither choice is a universal winner on the available evidence. Prioritize operating system, screen preference, verified local support and the actual offer in front of you; the published specifications do not replace hands-on performance, camera or battery comparisons.
