In India, the iPhone 15 launched at ₹79,900, while the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini launched at ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB—a ₹19,901 difference between their announced starting prices. That is not a like-for-like storage comparison: Apple’s starting configuration has 128GB. The Reno15 Pro Mini offers a larger 120Hz display and more rear-camera hardware on paper; the iPhone 15 offers Apple’s A16 Bionic platform and iOS. Neither launch price should be treated as a current street price.
How much is the India launch-price difference?
Apple announced the iPhone 15 at ₹79,900 for its 128GB starting configuration in September 2023. OPPO announced the Reno15 Pro Mini at ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB in January 2026. Subtracting those two launch starting prices gives a ₹19,901 gap, but the OPPO configuration has twice the listed storage. OPPO also announced a 12GB/512GB version at ₹64,999. These are launch prices, not verified current offers; check retailers for live pricing, stock and applicable terms.

Which phone has the better display?
The Reno15 Pro Mini has the larger listed panel at 6.32 inches and supports refresh rates up to 120Hz. The iPhone 15’s 6.1-inch OLED display is smaller, and the cited specification does not list a comparable 120Hz rate. The figures establish a difference in size and refresh capability, not a judgment about calibration, brightness or which screen looks better to you.
Which phone has the better camera?
On hardware specifications, OPPO lists three rear cameras: a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide, plus a 50MP front camera. Apple lists a 48MP main camera and a 2x optical-quality zoom option in its dual-camera system. A higher megapixel count or additional lens does not, by itself, prove better photos. The available specifications do not establish a winner for image quality, low-light results, stabilization or lens switching.

- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
For video, Apple’s technical page lists 4K recording up to 60fps and Dolby Vision HDR up to 4K/60fps. OPPO lists 4K up to 60fps on both rear and front cameras and HDR recording. Those feature descriptions do not substitute for a controlled comparison of video quality and workflow.
Is the Reno15 Pro Mini smaller than the iPhone 15?
“Mini” is relative: OPPO lists the Reno15 Pro Mini’s display at 6.32 inches, compared with 6.1 inches for the iPhone 15. OPPO’s India specification page gives the Reno’s dimensions as 151.2 × 72.4mm, thickness around 8.0–8.1mm and weight around 187–188g depending on colour. The cited Apple material identifies the iPhone’s screen size but does not establish its exact dimensions or weight for this comparison, so those figures are not enough to claim which phone is physically smaller or lighter. Check each model’s measurements and try the phones in hand if pocket fit matters.

What do battery and charging specifications tell you?
OPPO lists a 6,200mAh typical battery capacity and up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the Reno15 Pro Mini. Apple’s cited iPhone 15 pages do not provide a directly comparable capacity figure. Battery capacity and charging wattage alone cannot establish real-world runtime or the time each phone takes to charge; those depend on more than the headline figures.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which platform is the better fit?
The iPhone 15 uses Apple’s A16 Bionic platform and iOS. The Reno15 Pro Mini lists a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and ColorOS 16. Choose based on the operating system, apps, services and device ecosystem you prefer. Chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster, and the cited material does not provide a comparable benchmark or a like-for-like support-duration comparison.

What else should you check before buying?
- Confirm the storage configuration: the launch-price comparison pairs Apple’s 128GB starting model with OPPO’s 256GB model.
- Check current India pricing, seller, stock, warranty and return terms; the announced launch figures do not establish today’s deal.
- OPPO’s announced sale channels included Amazon, Flipkart, its e-store and retail outlets. Its listed box contents include a charger and protective case, but contents can vary by market.
- Compare durability ratings only with their stated test conditions in mind. IP ratings and protective glass do not mean a phone cannot be damaged.
- For charging accessories, both phones use USB-C. Confirm that any charger or cable meets the requirements of the phone and charging method you intend to use.
