The OnePlus 13s is the stronger fit if you want a compact Android phone with a large listed battery and fast wired charging; the iPhone 15 makes more sense if you specifically want iOS and Apple’s documented camera features. The price figures available are not same-day quotes: OnePlus India lists ₹54,999 for its 12GB/256GB 13s and ₹59,999 for 12GB/512GB, while Apple announced the iPhone 15 from ₹79,900 in India at its September 2023 launch. Check current prices for matching storage before treating those figures as a price difference.
At a glance: how the iPhone 15 and OnePlus 13s differ
These phones arrived in different release periods: Apple announced iPhone 15 in September 2023, while OnePlus launched the 13s on June 5, 2025. Their specifications point to different priorities, but they do not establish which phone is better in every real-world task.

OnePlus’s technical figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Apple’s cited announcement does not provide comparable display, weight, front-camera, battery, or charging figures, so those cells are not a complete specification comparison.

Choose OnePlus 13s if you prioritize Android and charging
- You want an Android phone and prefer a compact device; OnePlus describes the 13s as 6.32 inches and 185 g.
- The listed 5850 mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging are important to you. Battery capacity and charging rate alone do not prove longer runtime or a better overall experience.
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera listed with 2x optical zoom, while understanding that specifications alone do not establish photo quality.
Choose iPhone 15 if you specifically prefer iOS
- You want iOS or use Apple services and want to stay with that platform.
- You value the Dynamic Island and Apple’s stated camera features, including 0.5x, 1x, and 2x optical-quality zoom levels.
- You prefer Apple’s A16 Bionic platform. The available sources do not establish a controlled performance comparison against the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Price difference in India: compare current, matching offers
OnePlus India’s Easy Upgrade terms list the 13s at ₹54,999 for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and ₹59,999 for 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. These are listed terms prices, not confirmation of a current offer, universal street price, or eligibility. Verify the terms before relying on them: OnePlus Easy Upgrade terms and conditions.

- Up to 26 hours video playback. USB C, Supports USB 2. Face ID
Apple announced an India starting price of ₹79,900 for iPhone 15 in September 2023. That is a historical launch price, not a current quote, and the announcement’s starting price does not establish a storage match with either OnePlus variant. See Apple’s iPhone 15 launch announcement.
Because the available figures come from different dates and pricing bases, subtracting them would create a misleading “price difference.” To make a fair comparison, check both phones on the same day in India, match storage as closely as possible, and record whether the displayed price includes bank discounts, exchange credits, or other conditions. Current retailer prices, offers, and stock are not established here.

Display, size, and build
OnePlus lists the 13s with a 6.32-inch display and a weight of 185 g, positioning it as a compact phone. Apple’s cited launch announcement highlights the iPhone 15’s Dynamic Island but does not provide a comparable display size or weight in the information used here. If one-handed handling or pocket fit matters, compare both devices in person or consult the current official specifications for your region rather than inferring a size match from the 13s figures alone.
Performance and software choice
The OnePlus 13s uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite; the iPhone 15 uses Apple A16 Bionic. Those are platform specifications, not evidence of a winner in app speed, gaming, heat management, or sustained performance. No independent controlled head-to-head test is established here.

Choose primarily by operating system and services: the 13s is an Android option, while the iPhone 15 runs iOS. The source material does not establish comparative software-support duration, resale value, or broader ecosystem superiority, so those should not be assumed from the processor names or launch dates.
Camera comparison: hardware is not a photo-quality verdict
OnePlus lists a 50MP autofocus wide camera, a 50MP autofocus telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 32MP autofocus front camera for the 13s. Apple describes the iPhone 15’s 48MP Main camera and an additional 2x Telephoto option as delivering three optical-quality zoom levels: 0.5x, 1x, and 2x. Apple also introduced Dynamic Island on the iPhone 15.

These descriptions are not directly equivalent tests: megapixel counts and zoom labels do not show how cameras perform across lighting, moving subjects, video, or processing. There is no independent, controlled iPhone 15-versus-13s camera comparison established here, so neither device can be declared the overall camera winner on this evidence.

OnePlus specifies a 5850 mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the 13s. The capacity figure does not translate directly into a runtime comparison with iPhone 15, and the cited Apple announcement does not provide a comparable battery-capacity figure.

OnePlus reports that its battery testing took place on April 26, 2025, at 25 °C, using ten commonly used applications and scenarios, under its own test laboratory. This is a OnePlus-reported test with stated conditions, not an independent comparison with iPhone 15. No independent head-to-head battery-runtime result is established here.
