The iPhone 15 and Nothing Phone (4a) take different approaches: Apple highlights its A16 Bionic chip, Dynamic Island and 48MP main camera with a 2x telephoto option; Nothing promotes a three-camera system, up to 70x ultra zoom and Nothing OS. Official launch and pre-order prices available for these phones come from different countries, dates and configurations, so they do not establish a current price difference. Choose between them based on platform preference and verified local pricing—not headline zoom figures alone.

These are manufacturer-published descriptions, not independent performance or image-quality test results. Apple’s iPhone 15 launch announcement dates to September 12, 2023. Check the product information applicable to your country for current terms.
Which phone has the better camera?
The available specifications do not establish a photo-quality winner. The headline numbers describe different things: Apple identifies a 2x telephoto option and three optical zoom levels, while Nothing advertises up to 70x ultra zoom. A maximum ultra-zoom figure is not equivalent to an optical zoom specification, and it does not show how detailed or usable a photo will be at that range.
Apple also said the iPhone 15’s 48MP main camera uses a 24MP default for what it called “super-high-resolution photos.” That is a manufacturer statement from the 2023 launch, not a comparative test against the Phone (4a). To judge actual results, look for side-by-side photos taken in the same conditions, including low light, portraits and zoom levels you expect to use.
