The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE starts at $699.99 in the United States, while Apple’s iPhone 15 launched there at $799 in 2023. That is a $100 difference between two launch prices from different years—not a verified comparison of what the phones cost today. The clearest differences are the S26 FE’s larger 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz option and three rear cameras, versus the iPhone 15’s smaller 6.1-inch display and Apple ecosystem.
Price difference: what the launch figures do and don’t tell you
Samsung announced a US starting price of $699.99 for the Galaxy S26 FE on August 27, 2026, with US availability beginning September 4, 2026. Apple announced the iPhone 15 at a US starting price of $799 on September 12, 2023. On those launch figures, the S26 FE was $100 lower. The comparison spans three years, so it does not establish which phone is cheaper today.
Samsung’s US announcement lists 128GB and 256GB configurations and notes that storage options can vary by carrier or region. Apple’s launch announcement lists 128GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations. The cited announcements do not establish current US retailer prices for matching storage tiers, so check current offers for the same storage capacity and sales conditions before deciding on price.

Regional launch prices should be kept in their own currencies and markets rather than converted or mixed with US figures:

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)

The following figures come from the manufacturers’ launch announcements; they describe listed hardware and features rather than independently measured results.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.

Display: larger screen or smaller phone?
The S26 FE has the larger listed screen at 6.7 inches, compared with 6.1 inches for the iPhone 15. Samsung specifies FHD+ resolution, a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, 60Hz and 120Hz refresh-rate options, and brightness up to 1,900 nits. Apple identifies the iPhone 15’s Super Retina XDR display and Dynamic Island. The cited Apple announcement does not establish a high-refresh-rate option for the standard iPhone 15, so it should not be treated as a like-for-like 120Hz specification.

In practical terms, the Samsung’s size and refresh options may suit someone who values a larger viewing area or smoother motion when the 120Hz option is active. The iPhone’s smaller stated screen may better suit someone who prefers a more compact handset. The specifications alone do not determine which display looks better in person.
Cameras: compare the layout, not untested photo quality
The Galaxy S26 FE has three rear cameras: a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Samsung also lists a 12MP front camera. Apple describes the iPhone 15 as having a 48MP main camera with a 2x telephoto option.

Those are different hardware arrangements and zoom options, not evidence that one phone takes better photos. No comparable camera tests are established by the cited manufacturer announcements. If camera quality is decisive, look for independent tests using the same scenes and conditions rather than judging from megapixel counts alone.

Samsung specifies a 4,900mAh typical battery capacity, 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for the S26 FE. Samsung says the wired charging adapter is sold separately. Apple’s cited launch announcement identifies USB-C but does not supply a comparable battery-capacity or charging-wattage figure. Battery capacity by itself does not establish real-world battery life, and the available figures do not support a direct endurance verdict.
Software and ecosystem: Android and iOS are the real dividing line
Samsung’s announcement highlights One UI 9 and Galaxy AI. Apple’s iPhone 15 announcement describes iOS and Apple’s iPhone features. This supports a straightforward platform distinction: choose based on whether you prefer Android and Samsung’s feature set or iOS and Apple’s ecosystem, including the devices and services you already use.
The cited announcements do not establish a current, like-for-like comparison of software features or long-term update support. They therefore cannot support a claim that one phone will receive updates longer or has feature parity with the other.
Which is better for you?
Choose the Galaxy S26 FE if
- You want the larger 6.7-inch display and its stated 120Hz refresh-rate option.
- You value a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera alongside wide and ultrawide cameras.
- You prefer Samsung’s Android-based One UI experience and Galaxy AI features.
- A current, verified offer for your preferred storage tier makes sense for your budget.
Choose the iPhone 15 if
- You prefer iOS or already rely on Apple devices and services.
- You want the smaller 6.1-inch display rather than the larger Samsung screen.
- You find a verified current offer that works for your budget and storage needs.
Neither list is a performance verdict: the cited specifications do not establish comparative camera quality, benchmark speed, battery endurance or long-term software support. For a purchase decision, verify the current price, storage capacity, carrier or unlocked status, and seller in your market.
