The available official prices do not establish a current price difference: Apple’s $1,199 figure was the U.S. launch price in September 2023, while vivo India lists the X300 from ₹83,999. These are manufacturer specifications and regional price listings, not independent head-to-head test results.

By the manufacturers’ listed measurements, the X300 is 31g lighter and more compact. The iPhone’s larger screen may suit readers who prefer more display area; the X300’s smaller body may be easier to handle. Processor specifications alone do not establish which phone performs faster in everyday use or demanding workloads.
Apple introduced the iPhone 15 Pro Max in 2023. vivo’s official pages identify the X300, and its Indonesia launch announcement is dated November 20, 2025; launch timing can differ by market.

The iPhone has a specified 5x optical telephoto camera. vivo’s system pairs a 200MP main camera with 50MP telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. A higher megapixel count does not by itself show which phone produces better photos: sensor, lens, image processing, lighting and independent sample comparisons all matter. The manufacturers’ specifications do not establish a camera-quality winner.

Battery and charging: different claims, not a direct endurance comparison
Apple estimates up to 29 hours of video playback for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It supports MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W; fast wired charging requires a 20W-or-higher adapter sold separately.
vivo lists 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless FlashCharge for the X300. Its stated typical battery capacity varies by region: 6040mAh in overseas markets except Europe, and 5360mAh in Austria and Hungary. Check the specification for the exact market version you plan to buy.

These figures describe different things: Apple’s estimate is video playback time, while vivo states battery capacity and charging rates. They are not equivalent measures, so they cannot establish which phone lasts longer in real use.
Durability, ports and regional details
- Water and dust resistance: Apple specifies IP68 for the iPhone, including a maximum depth of 6m for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529 conditions. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the X300 and cautions that resistance may decrease with daily use. Ratings do not guarantee permanent water resistance.
- Port and data transfer: The iPhone uses USB-C and supports USB 3 data transfer up to 10Gb/s. Apple lists Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
- X300 regional configuration: 5G bands, SIM or eSIM support, and whether a charger is included can vary by market. Confirm the exact version and carrier compatibility before purchase.
Price difference: the available figures are not like-for-like
Apple announced a U.S. starting price of $1,199 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max on September 12, 2023. That is a historical launch price, not a verified current selling price. Apple listed 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options.

vivo India’s official store lists the X300 at ₹83,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹89,999 for 12GB+512GB. These are India-market listings accessed in 2026 and may change.
Do not subtract or directly compare these prices: they use different currencies, markets, dates and configurations, and one is a historical launch price. To compare what you would actually pay, use the same country, purchase date, storage tier and phone condition. Include local taxes, trade-in offers, carrier deals and warranty coverage in the calculation.

Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the iPhone 15 Pro Max if you want the larger 6.7-inch display, iOS, or a specified 5x optical telephoto camera.
- Consider the vivo X300 if you prefer a smaller, lighter phone, Android 16 with OriginOS 6, or the charging rates vivo lists for the model.
- Compare local prices and support if cost is decisive. The official figures above do not answer which phone currently costs less in your market.
