The 2025 iPad Air 11-inch (M3), model A3267, adds cellular data to Apple’s midrange tablet; the Magic Keyboard identified as A3339 is a separate accessory, not listed in the iPad’s box contents. This pairing makes most sense if you need mobile data away from Wi-Fi and want a physical keyboard with a trackpad. Apple documents the hardware and accessory features, but the public page for this exact CHOICE review does not expose its test results.
What this configuration includes
Apple identifies A3267 as a Wi-Fi + Cellular model of the iPad Air 11-inch (M3), introduced in 2025. The tablet’s listed box contents are a 20W USB-C power adapter and a one-metre USB-C charge cable; they do not include a keyboard. Treat the A3339 Magic Keyboard as a companion accessory unless a specific retailer confirms a bundle.
The title gives the keyboard model number, but Apple’s cited announcement does not tie A3339 to a complete compatibility list. Before buying, confirm that the retailer’s listing or Apple’s compatibility information explicitly matches the 11-inch iPad Air (M3) and the keyboard model you intend to purchase.

Screen and storage choices
Apple lists a Liquid Retina LED-backlit display with IPS technology, a resolution of 2360 by 1640 pixels at 264 ppi, and 500 nits of brightness. It also specifies P3 wide colour, True Tone, full lamination and an antireflective coating. The 11-inch label measures the display diagonally as a rectangle; the viewable area is smaller. Storage options are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. Apple’s technical specifications provide the full configuration details.

What cellular adds
Alongside Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3, Apple lists sub-6 GHz 5G and Gigabit LTE, both with 4×4 MIMO, for Wi-Fi + Cellular models. The cellular connection is data-only; Apple also lists eSIM and Wi-Fi calling. These specifications do not guarantee service or a particular speed in a given location.
Cellular plans are sold separately. Apple says the device is configured for particular cellular network technology, asks buyers to check carrier compatibility and plan availability, and notes that not all carriers support eSIM. Confirm that your carrier supports this model and offers a suitable plan where you will use it before paying extra for cellular.
What the Magic Keyboard adds
Apple describes the redesigned Magic Keyboard for iPad Air as attaching magnetically and using the Smart Connector for power and data, so it does not connect over Bluetooth. It has a larger built-in trackpad, a 14-key function row for controls such as brightness and volume, and a USB-C charging connector in its machined-aluminium hinge. Apple says the new keyboard is compatible with 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models. The announcement describes the feature set, but the exact A3339 compatibility should still be confirmed for the listing you are considering. Apple’s March 2025 announcement has the accessory details.

Those features may suit people who type often or prefer pointer control, but they do not establish that the tablet will replace a laptop for a particular workflow. If you mostly use touch controls or already carry a separate keyboard, decide whether the integrated keyboard and trackpad justify the added accessory and its form factor.
Is the cellular model worth choosing?
Choose the cellular configuration if you regularly need internet access away from Wi-Fi and are willing to pay for a separate, supported data plan. If you are usually near trusted Wi-Fi, compare the Wi-Fi-only iPad’s current price instead; the documented specifications alone do not show that cellular will be worthwhile for every buyer.
Storage and screen size are separate decisions. Pick capacity according to the files and apps you expect to keep on the tablet, and check the current price for that exact capacity and connectivity configuration. If you need more screen area, compare the separately sold 13-inch iPad Air; the sources cited here do not provide independent comparative test results for the two sizes.

Apple’s M3 performance comparisons are manufacturer claims, not independent measurements established by the accessible CHOICE page. Apple says its battery testing used preproduction M3 iPad Air units in January and February 2025, with video playback and internet-browsing tests over Wi-Fi or LTE/5G; it cautions that actual battery life varies with settings, use, network and other factors. The available specifications do not provide a specific battery-hour result to report here.
