Neowin listed the Insta360 X5 Snowboard Bundle at $479.99 in the U.S. on October 14, 2026—about 21% below a reported $606 reference price. The promotion is limited-time, and the amount is not a guaranteed global price: stock, taxes, shipping and regional pricing can change.
What the $479 deal includes
Neowin listed the $479.99 promotion as a U.S.-market deal. The headline rounded that amount to $479 and described the discount as 21% off the $606 reference price. Because the offer is time-sensitive, verify the live retailer listing, delivery charges, taxes and inventory before paying.
Insta360’s Canadian store displayed the same Snowboard Bundle at CA$817, illustrating why the U.S. listing should not be treated as a worldwide price.

- One Insta360 X5 camera
- One Action Invisible Selfie Stick

Insta360’s official bundle guide separates the Standard Bundle from larger kits that can add batteries, selfie sticks, carrying cases and lens protection. The Snowboard Bundle is therefore best understood as a focused setup: camera, one battery, one invisible selfie stick and a lens cap. The guide does not establish a universal price, battery count or warranty for every regional bundle, so those details must be checked per listing.

Is the $479.99 offer worth considering?
- Good fit: snowboarders who want one-camera 360 capture, hands-free third-person angles and the ability to choose the viewpoint during editing.
- Check first: whether the U.S. promotion is still live, whether the seller ships to your address, and the final total after tax and shipping.
- Budget for: a compatible microSD card if one is not already owned; the listed Snowboard Bundle contents do not include a storage card.
- Consider another kit: riders planning long days or multi-run filming may prefer a bundle with extra batteries, a case or additional lens protection, if the regional price difference is justified.
Before you buy
- Open the current U.S. listing and confirm that it specifically says “Snowboard Bundle.”
- Check the displayed currency, seller, stock status, estimated delivery date, tax and shipping charges.
- Compare the contents against the four-item list above; bundles can vary by country and promotion.
- Read the local warranty and return terms rather than relying on the Canadian store’s 12-month and 30-day figures.
- For cold-weather use, charge batteries indoors, keep spares warm until needed and follow the manufacturer’s sealing and temperature guidance.
Bottom line on the promotion
At $479.99, the listed U.S. price is a substantial temporary discount from the cited $606 reference price and includes the core accessories needed for invisible-stick snowboard footage. It is a compelling deal only if the live listing still shows that price and the regional warranty, shipping and final checkout total work for you.
