Insider Gaming will stream its New Year, New Games 2027 showcase on Thursday, January 14, 2027, at 3 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. GMT. The event is expected to run 60–90 minutes and will present back-to-back trailers and reveals for games planned for release or major content updates during 2027.
When is the New Year, New Games 2027 Showcase?
The showcase starts on January 14, 2027, at 3 p.m. Eastern Time, which is 8 p.m. GMT. Insider Gaming expects the broadcast to last between 60 and 90 minutes. Because the schedule is described as an expected runtime, the final length may fall anywhere within that range.

Where can you watch it?
The broadcast will be available through Insider Gaming’s own platforms, YouTube and its social-media channels. The announcement does not identify a separate platform list for each individual game, so viewers should use Insider Gaming’s official channels for the stream and any schedule updates.

What will the showcase include?
The format is a continuous sequence of reveals and trailers shown one after another. Insider Gaming says projects from studios of different sizes can appear, making the presentation a mix of announcements rather than a single publisher’s event.

The editorial focus is strictly 2027. Eligible projects include:
- Games launching in Early Access during 2027.
- Games reaching version 1.0 in 2027.
- Major expansions or downloadable content planned for 2027.
- Games receiving a major update in 2027.
Insider Gaming has not published a confirmed game lineup while submissions remain open. That means no specific title, platform, release date or announcement type can yet be treated as part of the show.

What happens after the broadcast?
The showcase is intended to lead into additional editorial coverage. Insider Gaming plans individual interviews, articles on Insider-Gaming.com, a dedicated showcase newsletter and further material in the Insider Gaming app. These follow-up pieces may provide more detail than the short trailers shown during the main presentation.
Insider Gaming describes the event as a place where “There’s no multi-year waiting here.” The statement, published October 14, 2026, reflects the focus on projects expected to launch or receive substantial content within 2027 rather than distant announcements.

How developers and publishers can submit a game
Developers and publishers can submit projects through the showcase process if those projects target a 2027 release or qualifying major content update. Final production assets are not required at the initial submission stage; a general description of what the team could provide is acceptable then.
- Submit by November 25, 2026. The project must be intended for release or a qualifying major update in 2027.
- Arrange an interview by December 11, 2026. Insider Gaming’s interview schedule runs through this date.
- Deliver final assets by January 4, 2027. This is the deadline for the materials intended for the finished presentation.
Submitting an idea does not guarantee inclusion. The announcement establishes the eligibility window and deadlines, but it does not promise that every submission will appear or explain how the final running order will be selected.
