Choose Incogni if you want recurring automated opt-out requests across its standard broker list, or need a plan with custom removal requests. Choose DeleteMe if you prefer operator-submitted requests and reports that describe where information was found and what work is underway. Neither is a universal winner: their published coverage counts are not directly comparable, and current DeleteMe prices are not established in the available official pricing text. Check the specific sites you care about, plan limits, household coverage, availability, and renewal cost before subscribing.

What Incogni and DeleteMe do

Both services use personal details you provide to locate records at data brokers and people-search sites, then submit requests intended to remove or suppress those records. This can reduce exposure at covered sources; it does not erase information everywhere on the internet, stop new information from being collected, or guarantee that a listing will stay gone. Brokers control their own response times, and information can reappear.

Incogni’s process

Incogni says it contacts brokers on a subscriber’s behalf, using authorization to request deletion of personal data. Its dashboard lets subscribers track request progress. Standard plans describe recurring automated removals from 420+ sites; certain higher tiers also accept custom requests for sites outside that automated set. Incogni’s plan page describes custom-removal coverage for 3,000+ additional sites. These are vendor-stated coverage figures, not independently verified counts of successful removals.

DeleteMe’s process

DeleteMe asks subscribers to complete a personal data sheet with details such as current and past addresses, date of birth, and alternate names. Its operators submit opt-outs and monitor broker sites. Reports describe where information was found and whether work is underway or completed. DeleteMe says the first report arrives within seven business days, but it is a status update, not confirmation that every listing has already been removed.

How their coverage figures compare

The published figures should not be treated as a head-to-head score. Incogni states 420+ standard broker sites and 3,000+ additional sites for custom removals on eligible plans; Incogni’s pricing materials were accessed October 7, 2026. DeleteMe’s own pages differ: its pricing help article, updated August 14, 2025, says 50+ data-broker and people-search sites, while its service description, also updated August 14, 2025, says 85+ major data-broker sites. The available descriptions do not establish that the figures count the same kinds of sites or reflect the same plan scope.

For a useful comparison, search each service’s current covered-site information for the broker or people-search listing that concerns you. Then verify whether the plan can submit a custom request if that site is not in its standard coverage. A large site count alone does not show whether the service covers your particular exposure or whether a broker will act on a request.

Reporting and removal timing

DeleteMe says standard subscribers receive four Privacy Reports a year, on a quarterly schedule, and that the first arrives within seven business days. Its report documentation distinguishes an exposure reviewed, an exposure removed, and a site where information was found. The first report may describe searches and work in progress; it should not be read as evidence that all listings are gone. DeleteMe says broker responses can range from immediate to weeks.

Incogni describes monthly progress reports. It also says removal timing depends on the broker. In either case, a report is a way to follow work, not a guarantee of a particular removal date or permanent deletion.

Plans, availability, and what to verify about price

Incogni

Incogni’s pricing page, accessed October 7, 2026, displayed Standard, Unlimited, Family, Family Unlimited, and Protect plans. It showed annual introductory prices and renewal rates, but displayed amounts can vary by offer. Check the live checkout price and renewal amount together, note any tax, and confirm the region. Incogni says Protect is available only in the United States. Its family plan information describes coverage for up to five members.

DeleteMe

DeleteMe describes annual U.S. plans for one, two, or four people, with quarterly reports, a personal expert, and custom removal requests. Its pricing help page describes multi-person plans but does not state the actual price in the available page text. Check the current checkout total, subscription duration, and renewal terms rather than assuming DeleteMe costs less or more than Incogni. DeleteMe’s listed consumer plans are U.S.-only.

Compare the bill, not just the headline price

  • Compare the total billed for the initial term and the later renewal amount; distinguish an introductory offer from a recurring price.
  • Include tax where applicable and compare the number of people covered, not only the plan name.
  • Confirm custom-request access and any limits on the exact plan you intend to buy.
  • Check availability for your location before comparing prices or household options.

Custom requests, household coverage, and personal information

Incogni’s standard automated coverage is distinct from its custom-request feature, which is included in Unlimited, Family Unlimited, and Protect according to its plan materials. DeleteMe lists custom requests among plan features and says subscribers can submit links through its dashboard. Confirm current limits and terms for each plan rather than assuming that a custom-request feature covers every site without restriction.

For a household, compare the number of people included: Incogni describes family options for up to five members, while DeleteMe describes two-person and four-person plans. Availability and exact plan terms still matter.

Both services need identifying information to find records and file opt-outs. Review each provider’s current privacy policy and decide whether you are comfortable supplying the details required for the service. The available material does not establish a comparative privacy or security winner.

Does DeleteMe remove data from Google?

DeleteMe describes its work as removing information at source sites. A search result can reflect information published on one of those sites, so taking down a source listing is different from deleting a search engine’s own copy or controlling every result. The service’s description does not support treating a subscription as a guarantee that all Google results about you will disappear.

Which service should you choose?

  • Choose Incogni if its current standard list matches your needs and recurring automated requests are your priority, or if you need a plan offering custom removals.
  • Choose DeleteMe if operator-submitted opt-outs and its report format better suit you, or if one of its available household plans fits your needs.
  • Pause before choosing either if you cannot verify that the service covers your relevant listings, the plan is available where you live, or the full renewal cost fits your budget.

Before paying, verify the sites and custom-request terms on the exact plan, and compare the complete initial and renewal totals. An early report shows progress, not proof that all personal information has disappeared.
