These suffixes should not be treated as interchangeable. Miele’s current UK product page describes the KMBP 2800-3, not the original Iittala KMBP 2800 or the 2800-1. The manufacturer specifies stainless steel, a superthermal sandwich base, a three-layer ILAG Professional S non-stick surface and suitability for use across hob types. It also states that the pan is oven-suitable up to 240 °C, with a warning that the handle may become hot in the oven. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test findings.
