IFTTT Free gives you two Applets, each with one trigger and one action; Pro raises the limit to 20 Applets and adds multiple actions, faster speeds, and access to selected paid service features. Pro+ is the third tier, with unlimited Applets and advanced tools such as queries and filter code. Which plan fits depends on what your specific services and workflow require, not just how often you run an Applet.
IFTTT Free, Pro, and Pro+ at a glance
An Applet connects apps or devices so an event in one can trigger an action in another. The table reflects IFTTT’s published plans and prices accessed October 7, 2026; prices and plan details can change, so verify the current IFTTT Plans & Pricing page before subscribing.
| Plan | Published price | Applet limit | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2 | Standard speeds, unlimited Applet runs, one trigger and one action per Free Applet, simple no-code integrations, and mobile app access. |
| Pro | $2.99 per month or $35.88 billed annually | 20 | Faster Applet speeds, multiple actions, Webhooks and X/Twitter Applets, increased rate limits, selected exclusive triggers and actions, and customer support. |
| Pro+ | $8.99 per month or $107.88 billed annually | Unlimited | Everything in Pro, plus queries, filter code, multiple accounts per service, AI Services, and priority support. |
The annual amounts shown are twelve times the corresponding monthly rates. IFTTT’s plan page advertises a 40% yearly-billing saving; check the checkout price and how the offer applies to your account before choosing annual billing. See IFTTT’s plan overview for its description of features and trial eligibility.
What Free includes—and where its limit matters
Free is intended for a small set of straightforward workflows. You can enable up to two Applets, and each Free Applet has one trigger followed by one action. “Unlimited Applet runs” means the plan page does not set a general run-count cap; it does not increase the two-Applet allowance or override limits imposed by individual services.

Delays are available across plans, according to IFTTT’s plan overview. A service’s trigger or action may nevertheless require a paid tier, so check the badge on the particular component before building around it.
What Pro adds over Free
Pro is the step up when a workflow needs to do more than one thing after a trigger, when faster Applet speeds matter, or when a selected service component is marked Pro. It permits up to 20 Applets. Pro also lists Webhooks and X/Twitter Applets, increased rate limits, selected exclusive triggers and actions, and customer support.
“Faster” is a relative plan feature, not a guaranteed response time for every service or Applet. IFTTT does not publish a single performance figure in the cited plan comparison. Your workflow’s timing can depend on its trigger and connected services.

What Pro+ adds
Pro+ includes Pro features and removes the stated Applet-count limit. Its distinguishing tools are queries, filter code, and the ability to connect multiple accounts for a service; it also includes AI Services and priority support.
Queries and filter code
A query requests data when an Applet runs, and that returned data can inform later logic or actions. Filter code adds conditions, such as skipping an action based on the time or on query data. These tools are useful when a basic trigger-and-action sequence is not enough to express the workflow you need.
IFTTT describes Applet execution in this order: trigger, queries, filter code, delay, then actions. Its Applet creation guide explains these components.

How to check whether a specific Applet needs a paid plan
Plan eligibility is not always determined by a service name alone. One service can have free components alongside triggers or actions that require Pro or Pro+. IFTTT classifies an Applet according to its particular actions, queries, filter code, and service requirements. Check the Applet card, service page, or Applet Composer for its plan badge; IFTTT’s guide to service plan badges describes where to look.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- Identify the exact trigger, query, and action components your workflow needs—not just the service names.
- Look for Free, Pro, or Pro+ badges on the Applet card, service page, or in the Applet Composer.
- Check whether the workflow requires multiple actions, queries, filter code, or more connected accounts than your plan supports.
- Review the relevant service’s usage limits as well as the plan features; a paid plan does not necessarily remove a service’s own cap.
Applet runs and service rate limits are different
Unlimited runs on Free is not a promise of unlimited use of every connected service. IFTTT’s rate-limit article, updated March 11, 2026, says most services have no IFTTT-applied rate limits but lists exceptions, including SMS, X/Twitter, Webhooks, and AI Services. Examples in that article include 200 AI-service queries per day on Pro+, 240 Webhooks requests per minute on Pro and Pro+, and SMS limits on paid tiers of 100 per month in the US and Canada or 10 per month worldwide. These are service-specific examples, not general allowances for every plan or integration.
In that same article, daily limits reset at midnight in the account’s local time and monthly limits on the first day of the month at midnight local time. Consult the current IFTTT Service Rate Limits page for the service you plan to use.

Which plan should you choose?
- Choose Free if two simple Applets, each with one trigger and one action, cover your needs and the required components are available without a paid badge.
- Choose Pro if you need multiple actions from one trigger, faster Applet speeds, or a Pro-only component, and 20 Applets are enough.
- Choose Pro+ if you need more than 20 Applets, queries, filter code, multiple accounts for a service, or AI Services.
These are practical decision rules based on IFTTT’s stated feature differences. The badge on your exact workflow and the connected service’s limits should settle the choice.
Trials, billing, and changing plans
IFTTT’s plan overview says eligible users who have not already had a trial receive a seven-day free trial when signing up for Pro or Pro+. Eligibility and checkout terms can vary by account, so verify them before relying on a trial. IFTTT says a plan change or cancellation leaves paid features available until the end of the active billing cycle; see the plan overview for the published terms.
