A third-party PC script called Eject for Grand Theft Auto 5 adds a Bond-style escape trick to Grand Theft Auto V: press a key, launch your character out of the vehicle, and try to parachute to safety. It works as a vehicle-ejection gimmick, but the parachute and stunt potential are less reliable than the premise suggests.
What the GTA 5 ejector-seat script does
The feature comes from Eject for Grand Theft Auto 5, a third-party script for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. Its description, reproduced by PC Gamer, says: “A simple little fun script that allows you to eject from vehicles and parachute down.”

In practical terms, the script gives you an eject control while driving. Activating it throws the player character out of the car with a configurable launch force. The intended sequence is familiar from spy films: escape the vehicle, deploy a parachute, and descend somewhere safer than the car you abandoned.

How to add ejector seats to GTA 5 cars
- Use the PC edition. The script is intended for Grand Theft Auto V on PC; the reported setup does not establish support for PlayStation or Xbox versions.
- Get the Eject for Grand Theft Auto 5 script from its legitimate distribution page. Check that the download identifies the same script and includes current installation and key-binding instructions.
- Install the script exactly as its package instructs. Mod loaders, script hooks and file locations can vary with the game build, so do not assume that files from another GTA 5 mod belong in the same folder.
- Launch the game in a safe test session. Try the eject control with a disposable save or a controlled single-player session before using the script in a heavily modded installation.
- Test the default settings first. The author’s reported default Force value is 150. Confirm that ejection works before changing the value or attempting stunts.
The available report does not specify a universal keyboard key, an exact loader version, or a guaranteed installation path. Those details should come from the script package you download, not from a generic GTA 5 mod guide.
Force settings: 150, 10,000 and 100,000
Force controls how strongly the script launches the character. PC Gamer writer Joshua Wolens reported testing the default value of 150, then raising it to 10,000. He also tried 100,000, a setting that appeared to crash the game on launch.

- Experience the world of Grand Theft Auto V like never before with the power of the PlayStation 4.
- Explore the City of Los Santos, the countryside and even the ocean.
- Play through an epic single player experience using three very different characters.
- Join your friends in GTA Online and see what trouble you can cause.
- Play golf, tennis, see a film or call someone and just hang out.
These figures are configuration values from one hands-on experiment, not recommended presets or controlled stability limits. A higher number is not automatically better: extreme physics inputs can make the launch unpredictable or prevent the game from starting. Change one setting at a time, keep a backup of the original configuration, and return to 150 if the game becomes unstable.
Can you eject and parachute in GTA 5?
Yes, the script’s core action is ejecting from a vehicle, and it is designed to allow a parachute descent afterward. The reported play session confirms the basic launch behavior, but describes the overall result as mixed rather than consistently cinematic.

The parachute should be treated as an escape option, not a guarantee of a precise landing. Your altitude, launch angle, terrain and timing all affect whether there is enough room to deploy and steer safely. The script itself does not turn every vehicle into a reliable aircraft or give you a repeatable stunt route.
Why the mod fails to keep momentum
The main limitation observed by Wolens was momentum preservation. He attempted to eject over an overpass and land back in the same vehicle, but the script did not reliably carry the car’s movement into the player’s flight. As a result, the character did not consistently follow the vehicle’s trajectory, making return-to-car stunts fail.
Rank #4
- The biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created and now packed with layers of new detail.
- Grand Theft Auto V blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game's three lead characters, playing all sides of the game's interwoven story.
- Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe for multiple players.
That behavior means the eject action is best understood as a launch-and-parachute effect, not a physics-perfect transfer of velocity. Even if you increase Force, you are changing the launch impulse rather than fixing the script’s inconsistent handling of the vehicle’s existing momentum. A larger value can therefore produce a more dramatic separation without making a landing back in the car more dependable.
What to do if GTA 5 crashes after changing Force
- Restore the last known working Force value, starting with the default 150.
- If the game will not launch, remove or temporarily disable the script using the package’s documented procedure, then verify that the unmodified game starts.
- Reinstall the script cleanly if its files were edited or partially replaced.
- Avoid jumping directly to 100,000: that value appeared to cause a launch crash in the reported test.
- Test the script by itself before combining it with other vehicle, physics or parachute scripts.
A crash at one setting does not prove that every PC installation will fail at that value, but it is a clear reason to treat 100,000 as unsafe rather than as a target to reproduce.

What this mod is—and is not
- It is: a PC script that adds a vehicle-ejection trigger, adjustable launch force and an attempted parachute descent.
- It is not: an official GTA 5 feature, a console mod, or a dependable way to preserve a car’s momentum for precision stunts.
- Its strongest use: funny escapes, emergency exits and improvised parachute jumps in single-player experiments.
- Its weak point: repeatable stunt landings and stability at extreme Force values.
The report was published by PC Gamer on October 14, 2026, and reflects one writer’s observations. No independent benchmark, success rate, download count or broad compatibility test has been published with these findings.
