The HYTE Y50 RGB combines a three-piece panoramic glass design, four included ARGB fans and broad listed radiator support at a $99.99 US launch MSRP. It is most compelling if you want a showcase case with cooling hardware already included; whether it suits your build depends on checking GPU, cooler, power-supply and radiator clearances before you buy. The MSRP is not a verified current retail price.
What the Y50 RGB offers for its price
HYTE announced a $99.99 US MSRP on June 2, 2026. That is a manufacturer’s suggested launch price, not a guarantee of what the case currently costs. Retailer pricing, taxes, tariffs, color availability and regional pricing can change the amount you pay.
At that announced price, the headline features are a dual-chamber layout, three-piece tempered-glass panels and four included ARGB fans. HYTE’s included configuration is a 360 mm side-mounted reverse-blade assembly plus a 120 mm rear fan. That gives buyers a complete, coordinated starting point without making an optional radiator or extra fans a requirement.
Tom’s Hardware’s August 25, 2026 hands-on report describes the build experience as comfortable, with useful space around the motherboard tray and cable cut-outs. The reviewer also found the front-panel I/O cable’s combined connector easier to install than separate small headers. Those are practical observations, not a controlled comparison against other cases.

Design and build experience
Panoramic glass makes the interior part of the build
The three-piece tempered-glass design gives the Y50 RGB its showcase appeal. Tom’s Hardware describes the glass as clear and notes that it makes cable organization particularly visible. The dual-chamber design provides room behind the motherboard tray to route and conceal cables, but the wide view means tidy routing still matters to the finished appearance.
This is a good fit for a build where component presentation is a priority. If you prefer a closed-off or understated case, the exposed interior may matter less than the Y50’s fit, cooling and storage specifications.

Dimensions, materials and colors
HYTE lists the case at 473 × 288 × 461 mm (L × W × H), with steel, ABS and tempered glass construction. The announced colors are Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk and Taro Milk. Availability can vary by retailer and region.

Will your components fit?
The Y50 RGB supports standard E-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, as well as rear-connect boards in the ASUS BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH and MSI Project ZERO ecosystems. Check the exact board model and connector layout: ecosystem-level compatibility does not replace checking the dimensions and clearances of a particular build.

Use the GPU’s full dimensions—not just its length—to check fit, and account for power connectors and cable bend space. Also verify that the PSU, motherboard layout and cooling hardware can coexist in your intended configuration. HYTE’s listed limits are fit constraints, not a guarantee that every combination at the maximum dimensions will work together.
Cooling support and included fans
HYTE specifies a fan speed range of 200–1500 RPM and the following mounting and radiator limits. The radiator length and thickness limits are published specifications; confirm the radiator’s full dimensions and the clearance needed for its fans and fittings.

Tom’s Hardware says the side fans form a unified reverse-blade unit, allowing intake while showing the fan face through the glass. HYTE lists the bottom fan positions as supporting fans up to 32 mm thick. The available specifications do not establish that additional cooling hardware is necessary; decide based on your components and cooling plan rather than assuming the case requires an add-on.
ThinkComputers’ review says it includes thermal and acoustic testing, but the retrieved article text does not provide the detailed results. Specific temperatures, noise readings or comparative cooling conclusions therefore cannot be established from the available reporting.

Storage, ports and warranty
HYTE lists six internal 2.5-inch drive positions, four of which are shared with 3.5-inch bays, plus two internal 3.5-inch drive positions. Tom’s Hardware describes storage sleds for up to six 2.5-inch or two 3.5-inch drives. Plan around the shared positions if you need a mix of drive sizes.
The front I/O includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports rated at 5 Gbps, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port rated at 10 Gbps, and a combo audio/microphone jack. HYTE announces a four-year warranty; consult the warranty terms applicable to your region and purchase.
Who should consider the HYTE Y50 RGB?
- Consider it if you want a panoramic glass showcase, value the dual-chamber cable-routing space, and can use the included fan arrangement.
- Check carefully if your build uses a long or wide GPU, a tall CPU cooler, a long PSU, a rear-connect motherboard, or a thick radiator. Several maximum dimensions are configuration-dependent.
- Look elsewhere if the case’s visible interior is not useful to you and another option better suits your cooling layout, storage needs or component dimensions. The available sources do not provide standardized thermal or noise comparisons that would establish the Y50 RGB as a performance leader.
To compare it with another case, compare total case cost at current checkout—not just launch MSRP—and account for any cooling hardware you would add. Then check the exact GPU, CPU cooler, PSU, motherboard, radiator and storage configuration against the specifications.
