The HUTT 10 is a plug-in window-cleaning robot that uses suction to stay on vertical glass, wipes with a damp rotating pad, then polishes with a dry pass. In Notebookcheck’s hands-on test, it cleaned ordinary grime on windows, mirrors and shower partitions effectively, but heavily soiled glass and a spotless finish still called for extra work. It is not suitable for horizontal surfaces, and the reviewer’s shallow-angle skylight test did not succeed.
How the HUTT 10 cleans and how you control it
The robot attaches to glass by suction and moves autonomously while its rotating pad performs a wet wiping stage followed by dry polishing. To start, Notebookcheck reviewer Benedikt Winkel plugged in the unit, long-pressed its central button to attach it, then short-pressed to begin cleaning. The package reviewed included a remote control; the review says there is no app connection.
The remote can steer the robot, start spot cleaning, switch between wet and dry modes, and select standard or intensive cleaning. That gives you direct controls without an app, but you need to stay within the reach of the remote and the power cord.
What Notebookcheck found on glass
Ordinary grime
For dust, fingerprints and rain streaks, the reviewer described the results as impressive. The test also found the robot’s movement reliable on vertical surfaces. These are one reviewer’s results under their test conditions, not a guarantee for every window or type of dirt.

Heavy dirt and finishing marks
Heavily soiled glass may need rough pre-cleaning or more than one pass. The reviewer recommends cleaning the cloths between passes. In several instances, a mark remained where the robot attached or finished; on one window, a roller-drive mark appeared. The reviewer could remove those marks with a cloth, but still needed to wipe the surfaces by hand after the robot had finished.
Supported surfaces—and a skylight caveat
Notebookcheck tested the HUTT 10 on windows, mirrors and shower partitions. The HUTT Shop listing says horizontal surfaces are unsuitable and specifies a minimum working area of 30 × 30 cm. Although the manufacturer’s claim reportedly includes skylights, the reviewer could not get the robot to work on a skylight in their test; they suggested the tested angle may have been too shallow. That single result does not establish a universal angle limit.

Do not assume that success on a vertical window means the robot will work on a door or another surface in any orientation. Check the intended surface and its orientation against the product guidance, and follow the supplied manual’s safety instructions when working near a drop.
Power, reach and safety
The HUTT 10 must be plugged in while cleaning. Notebookcheck measured a total power-cord length of 6.5 m on its sample. That is the sample’s measured reach, not a guarantee for every regional package. The retailer lists a 4.5 m safety rope; use the supplied manual for instructions on securing and operating the unit.

Notebookcheck reports that emergency battery operation keeps the robot attached and sounds an alert, but does not continue cleaning. The HUTT Shop listing describes the HUTT 10 Premium battery as 500 mAh and says it provides up to 30 minutes of backup operation. Those figures are retailer/manufacturer specifications, not measurements from the hands-on review, and backup time should not be mistaken for cleaning time.

Notebookcheck’s reviewed package included a storage bag, power adapter, remote, spare cloths, spare nozzles, manual, empty filling bottle and attached safety cable. Package contents can differ by region; the HUTT Shop page says retail versions were reported by the manufacturer to include cleaning solution.

The test suggests the HUTT 10 is most useful for someone with reachable vertical glass who wants help with routine dust, fingerprints or rain marks and is willing to handle setup, cord management and occasional hand finishing. It is a less convincing fit if you expect it to remove heavy buildup in one pass, leave every pane spotless without follow-up, or clean horizontal surfaces. For skylights, the available test only establishes that the reviewer’s shallow-angle example did not work; it does not establish which angles will.

For comparison with another window-cleaning robot, focus on ordinary versus heavy-soil performance, marks at edges and start/finish points, supported surfaces and orientations, power-cord reach, app or remote controls, and what the regional package includes. Notebookcheck tested the HUTT 10 rather than a group of competing models, so its review does not establish a comparative ranking.
