The 12,000mAh label describes the battery’s typical cell capacity; the 44.93Wh rating is the more useful figure when comparing energy with laptops, airline limits, or other power banks. Actual energy delivered to a device is lower than the cell rating because of voltage conversion and charging losses.

Huawei advertises up to 100W from one port. Reaching that ceiling requires a compatible device that accepts 100W SCP or USB PD, plus the built-in cable or a Huawei cable rated at 6A or higher. A phone with a lower charging limit will draw less, and a cable or protocol mismatch can reduce the rate further.

Huawei’s headline result is “42% in just 10 minutes.” The company says this came from laboratory testing with a HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro at 25°C, starting at 2% battery, with the screen off and the phone in standby. It is not a universal runtime or speed guarantee: device charging curves, temperature, battery condition, cable quality, and active use all change the result.
Input charging and two-device operation
Recharging the power bank
The maximum input is 66W. To approach that rate, use a charger and cable that support the required Huawei or USB Power Delivery profiles; a basic charger will take longer. Huawei also supports pass-through charging, allowing the power bank to recharge while it charges a connected phone or another device. Pass-through performance depends on the charger, connected devices, and thermal conditions.
Charging two devices
When both the built-in cable and the separate USB-C port are in use, Huawei specifies dynamic allocations of up to 66W + 40W or 88W + 18W. The allocation changes according to the devices’ requests and the negotiated charging protocols, so two connected products should not be expected to receive 100W each.

Protocols and device compatibility
The listed protocols are SCP V2.0, USB PD 3.0 with PPS, and QC 2.0. Huawei markets the unit for compatible phones, tablets, PCs, watches, and earbuds. iPhones and other iOS devices are described as compatible through USB Power Delivery, although their charging limits remain device-specific.
Can it charge a laptop?
Potentially, yes, if the laptop accepts USB-C Power Delivery at a level the power bank can provide. A laptop requiring more than 100W, using a proprietary charging input, or negotiating an unsupported profile may charge slowly or not at all. Check the computer’s USB-C PD requirements and use a suitable high-current cable before relying on it as a laptop supply.
Air travel and safety
At 44.93Wh, the battery is presented by Huawei as designed for air travel and is below the commonly used 100Wh threshold for spare lithium batteries. Airlines and countries can impose their own rules, including limits on the number of spare batteries and requirements to keep them in carry-on baggage. Huawei advises checking with the airline before travel; do not assume that a particular carrier will accept every power bank under the same conditions.

The stated protections cover charging and discharging overheat, cell overcharge and overdischarge, output overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit, battery short circuit, and charging/discharging undervoltage.
