HP’s EliteBoard G2a is reported as a keyboard-integrated PC refresh powered by AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400-series processors. Launch coverage lists a US starting price of $3,028 and says the system is orderable through HP in the US and UK. The reported entry configuration pairs a Ryzen AI 5 PRO 435 with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD; the top reported option reaches a Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450 and 32 GB of memory. Those details come from Notebookcheck’s October 13, 2026 report, not a verified G2a specification sheet or live HP listing.
What the EliteBoard G2a is
The EliteBoard G2a is described as a computer built into a keyboard, not a conventional keyboard accessory. The format puts the PC and typing hardware in one unit; users bring it to a compatible external display and connect the peripherals their setup requires.
HP announced the EliteBoard G1a predecessor in January 2026 as a full AI PC integrated into a keyboard and described connecting it to a monitor. Notebookcheck reports that the G2a keeps the G1a design while moving to newer processors. That is useful lineage context, but it does not establish every G2a connection or hardware detail. The same report says the product is orderable on HP’s US and UK websites. These are report-attributed launch figures; actual price, configuration availability, and stock can change, and a live G2a product listing was not independently confirmed.

Notebookcheck also reports a UK starting price of £2,317.82 before discounts, but the cited coverage does not provide a complete region-by-region configuration and price list. The available HP US store listing is for the G1a predecessor, not confirmation of G2a pricing: HP EliteBoard G1a store listing.
What the processor names do—and do not—confirm
The Notebookcheck report identifies the G2a’s reported base processor as Ryzen AI 5 PRO 435 and the top option as Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450. AMD’s CES 2026 announcement provides broader Ryzen AI 400 and Ryzen AI PRO 400 family context, including planned OEM systems from HP beginning in Q1 2026, but it does not independently verify these exact G2a SKUs. AMD states that the processor families deliver up to 60 TOPS of NPU AI compute. That is a family-level vendor claim, not a G2a-specific measurement or benchmark. No G2a-specific benchmark or independently measured performance figure is established in the cited coverage, so the processor branding alone should not be treated as proof of a particular workload speed or AI result.
What to verify before buying
The reported price and broad configuration range are not enough to decide whether the G2a fits a specific desk. The available G2a coverage does not establish a full official specification sheet.
