In Wendy’s UK Core Menu nutrition information published in a document with a February 2025 date in its URL, Dave’s Triple has the most calories and protein among the four burgers compared here: 1,195 kcal and 77 g of protein. Dave’s Single is the lowest of the four, at 524 kcal and 28 g. Those figures are UK menu data—not a complete or verified current U.S. comparison.
The figures below answer two common questions—how many calories are in a Wendy’s burger, and which of these Wendy’s burgers has the most protein—while keeping each number tied to its market and menu source. The values are published menu figures, not a promise that every burger assembled in every restaurant will match them exactly.
How many calories and grams of protein are in each burger?
The table shows Wendy’s UK figures for four burgers. The values are published by Wendy’s, not independently measured. They describe the entries in Wendy’s UK Nutrition Information — Core Menu PDF, whose URL path is dated February 2025; they should not be treated as current values for every country or restaurant.
| Burger | Calories per burger | Protein per burger | Market and source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dave’s Single | 524 kcal | 28 g | UK; Wendy’s Core Menu nutrition information, February 2025 document path |
| Dave’s Double | 879 kcal | 54 g | UK; Wendy’s Core Menu nutrition information, February 2025 document path |
| Dave’s Triple | 1,195 kcal | 77 g | UK; Wendy’s Core Menu nutrition information, February 2025 document path |
| Baconator | 1,001 kcal | 63 g | UK; Wendy’s Core Menu nutrition information, February 2025 document path |
These are per-burger totals in the UK table. The comparison is limited to these four named items: it does not establish which burger has the most protein or calories across every Wendy’s market, menu, or possible variation. In particular, the table is not a U.S. menu comparison just because Wendy’s also operates in the United States.

Read the two numbers as separate totals. Calories describe energy, while the protein column reports grams of protein; neither number alone describes every aspect of the burger. Wendy’s UK document contains other nutrition and allergen information, but the comparison here is intentionally limited to calories and protein.
Which Wendy’s burger has the most protein?
Of the four entries in the UK table, Dave’s Triple leads at 77 g of protein. Dave’s Double has 54 g, the Baconator has 63 g, and Dave’s Single has 28 g. In descending order, the figures are Dave’s Triple (77 g), Baconator (63 g), Dave’s Double (54 g), and Dave’s Single (28 g).
The same item with the highest protein figure also has the highest calorie figure in this comparison: Dave’s Triple has 1,195 kcal. The highest protein number is therefore not, by itself, a measure of how much protein a burger provides relative to its calories. It answers the question “Which has the largest protein total?” but not “Which has the most protein for a given number of calories?”
Recommended Free Tools
That distinction matters when comparing a larger burger with a smaller one. Dave’s Single is lowest in both absolute totals in this subset, but a lower total is not automatically a better ratio. Conversely, the largest protein total does not mean that a burger is the right option for an individual. The table is a menu comparison, not a personal nutrition assessment or recommendation.
Protein per calorie: how the four entries compare
If you want to compare protein against calories rather than compare either total alone, dividing each burger’s protein grams by its calories gives an approximate ratio. The following values are calculated from the same UK table, rounded to two decimal places; they are not separate Wendy’s claims.
| Burger | Calculation from UK table | Approximate protein per 100 kcal |
|---|---|---|
| Dave’s Single | 28 ÷ 524 × 100 | 5.34 g |
| Dave’s Double | 54 ÷ 879 × 100 | 6.14 g |
| Dave’s Triple | 77 ÷ 1,195 × 100 | 6.44 g |
| Baconator | 63 ÷ 1,001 × 100 | 6.29 g |
The calculation is protein grams divided by calories, multiplied by 100. For Dave’s Single, for example, 28 ÷ 524 × 100 is about 5.34 g per 100 kcal. The other rows use the same method and the same market table, so the comparison does not mix a U.S. protein value with a UK calorie value.

On this calculation, Dave’s Triple has the highest protein-to-calorie ratio among these four UK entries, narrowly ahead of the Baconator. The Single has the lowest ratio, even though it has the lowest totals for both calories and protein. A ratio answers a different question from “Which burger has the most protein?” and does not determine whether a meal is appropriate for an individual.
These ratios are a way to compare the listed entries, not a claim that any burger is “high protein” in a personal or clinical sense. They inherit the limits of the original menu figures: if a recipe, ingredient supply, or restaurant assembly differs, the actual burger may not have exactly the same totals. The ratios also cover only the four rows shown, not every item Wendy’s sells.
What changes between the Single, Double, and Triple?
The item names distinguish the Single, Double, and Triple, while the UK table provides the totals for each. Moving from one entry to another changes calories and protein by different amounts; the values do not scale in a simple fixed proportion.
- Dave’s Single to Dave’s Double: the UK table rises from 524 to 879 kcal, a difference of 355 kcal, and from 28 to 54 g protein, a difference of 26 g.
- Dave’s Double to Dave’s Triple: the listed totals rise from 879 to 1,195 kcal, a difference of 316 kcal, and from 54 to 77 g protein, a difference of 23 g.
These differences are arithmetic comparisons of Wendy’s UK entries, not estimates of what an added patty contributes on its own. The full burger totals reflect each burger as listed in the menu document. It would be misleading to treat the 355-kcal difference between Single and Double as the standalone nutrition value of one patty, or to assume that the Single’s totals can simply be multiplied to predict the Triple.
The step from the Double to the Triple is also not identical to the step from the Single to the Double: the table shows a 316-kcal and 23-g protein increase for the former, compared with 355 kcal and 26 g for the latter. This is why the menu entries should be compared as complete items instead of using a fixed per-patty estimate derived from one difference.

Across the three Dave’s entries, the Single is the lowest in both listed totals, the Double sits between the other two, and the Triple is highest in both. That orderly ranking applies to these three UK table rows; it should not be extended automatically to other countries, limited-time versions, or custom orders.

How does the Baconator compare with Dave’s burgers?
In the same UK table, the Baconator is listed at 1,001 kcal and 63 g of protein. That places it between Dave’s Double and Dave’s Triple for both totals: it has 122 more kcal and 9 g more protein than the Double, while it has 194 fewer kcal and 14 g less protein than the Triple.
The Baconator also exceeds Dave’s Single by 477 kcal and 35 g protein, based on subtraction from the UK table. These comparisons are useful for understanding the size of the differences between complete menu entries, but they do not isolate the nutritional effect of any one ingredient. They also do not mean that the Baconator falls between the Double and Triple in every measure; this statement concerns only the calories and protein values shown.
Wendy’s U.S. description identifies the Baconator’s configuration as two beef patties, six strips of Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise on a potato bun. That description explains what the named item contains; it is not a basis for calculating nutrition values or substituting U.S. figures for the UK table. Ingredient descriptions and menu nutrition values answer different questions, and the ingredient list should not be used to estimate a calorie or protein total.

That copy describes the product, not a nutrition claim. For numeric comparisons, the applicable market’s nutrition table remains the relevant source.
Why the U.S. and UK numbers should not be mixed
Wendy’s U.S. high-protein article lists Dave’s Single at 31 g of protein. Wendy’s UK February 2025 Core Menu table lists the Single at 28 g. The discrepancy is a concrete reminder that menu nutrition figures are market- and source-specific. The U.S. protein figure does not make the UK calorie figure a U.S. calorie value, and the UK table does not establish U.S. protein totals for the other burgers.
The difference is three grams for Dave’s Single, but it should not be interpreted as proof of a particular recipe change or ingredient difference. The available figures establish that the published values differ; they do not explain why. Wendy’s U.S. ordering menu says nutrition information is based on standard formulations and may vary because of suppliers, ingredient substitutions, recipe versions, restaurant product assembly, and seasonality.

The available U.S. information cited here does not provide a matching full set of calories and protein for all four burgers. To compare U.S. burgers accurately, use Wendy’s current U.S. nutrition information for every item in the comparison, rather than joining one U.S. figure to UK values. The same rule applies if comparing another country: use a single market and a consistent menu version for all rows.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWendy’s U.S. ordering menu groups hamburgers under lunch and dinner and notes that price and participation may vary. Availability and prices can therefore differ locally; a menu row in one location should not be assumed to be available at another. That availability note does not alter the UK nutrition comparison, but it is a reason to check the local ordering menu when making an actual order.
Wendy’s U.S. menu also states, “2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice, but calorie needs vary.” This is general menu guidance, not an individual target or a recommendation to select a particular burger. A single item’s listed calories cannot determine how it fits someone’s overall eating pattern or needs.
How to use the figures when ordering
- Check the market first. Confirm that the nutrition information is for the country where you are ordering. The table above is UK data; it is not a verified current U.S. comparison. Keep the country label attached to each value when comparing or sharing figures.
- Match the exact burger. Compare the same named item and the same listed configuration. Do not assume that a burger name or recipe has identical nutrition values across markets or versions. For example, the U.S. Baconator description is not a substitute for a UK nutrition row.
- Choose the quantity that answers your question. Use calories or protein per burger to compare the listed items. If your question is protein relative to calories, use the ratio and calculation shown above instead of ranking by protein total alone. State whether you are comparing a total or a per-100-kcal ratio.
- Use one consistent source version. Avoid combining a number from a U.S. article with a calorie value from a UK table. Check that every item in a ranking comes from the same market and current applicable menu information.
- Check current local information for a real order. Wendy’s says nutrition can vary with formulation and preparation factors, so a published entry may not exactly describe every restaurant’s assembled burger. Wendy’s also notes that price and participation vary, so confirm availability locally if that matters to your order.
- Keep the scope narrow. This comparison covers four named burgers and two measures. It does not provide values for every burger, side, drink, customization, or combination meal. Do not infer those totals from the four rows.
Wendy’s U.S. menu gives 2,000 calories per day as a general nutrition-advice reference and explicitly says calorie needs vary. That general figure is not a personal target and does not indicate whether any one burger fits an individual’s needs. Use the menu values as item comparisons rather than personalized dietary advice.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What this comparison can—and cannot—tell you
The UK table supports a direct comparison of calories and protein for four named burgers in that document. It shows that Dave’s Triple is highest in both totals among those entries; the calculated protein-per-100-kcal ratios provide a separate way to compare them. It does not establish a personal dietary recommendation, a full-market ranking, or exact values for a burger made at a particular restaurant.
Wendy’s UK Core Menu document also lists other nutrition and allergen information, but those details are outside this calories-and-protein comparison. For a decision that depends on an ingredient, allergen, or a current local formulation, use Wendy’s applicable menu information rather than infer it from these two numbers. A calories-and-protein table cannot confirm that a particular order meets an ingredient or allergen requirement.

The safest way to interpret the figures is to keep the source and date visible, compare like with like, and separate a published menu total from a personal conclusion. Within that narrow scope, the table makes the main trade-off plain: Dave’s Triple has the highest listed calorie and protein totals in this UK subset, while the Single has the lowest totals; the ratio calculation ranks the Triple narrowly ahead of the Baconator on protein per 100 kcal.
