The Birthday Candle Rod was reported as the 11th reward for submitting 11 different eligible 2nd Anniversary fish to the Icing Pool inside the giant Birthday Cake at Moosewood. Event guides place the event on October 3–6, 2026; that window has passed, and the available sources do not confirm whether the rod can still be obtained. Check the live game before collecting fish or heading to the cake.
How the Birthday Candle Rod was unlocked
During the reported 2nd Anniversary event, players brought eligible event fish to the giant Birthday Cake near the docks at Moosewood and submitted them through its Icing Pool. The rod was the reward for the 11th unique eligible species submitted—not simply the 11th fish handed in. The unofficial Fisch Wiki and third-party event guides describe the requirement; it is not confirmed by official game documentation.
- Go to Moosewood and find the giant Birthday Cake near the docks.
- Bring eligible 2nd Anniversary fish to the cake and submit them in the Icing Pool.
- Submit a different eligible species each time. Repeated species do not increase unique-species progress.
- According to event guides, the 11th unique submission awards the Birthday Candle Rod.
Profane Birthday Leviathan was not required. Guides describe the goal as 11 eligible species, not completion of every Anniversary bestiary entry.
Which fish counted toward the 11 unique submissions?
Third-party guides divide the reported eligible species into six that could be caught anywhere on the map during the event and five that were tied to Anniversary Pools. The routes below are historical event information, not confirmation that these fish or submission mechanics remain active.

Where Anniversary Pools appeared
Event guides report pools near Roslit Bay, Forsaken Shores, Snowcap Island, or Castaway Cliffs. They describe pink water and an in-game announcement identifying the pool’s location. Guides say pools appeared roughly hourly and remained active for about 15 minutes, but those timings are reported behavior, not guaranteed schedules.

The Anniversary Totem was listed as the reward for the fifth unique submission and was reported to summon an Anniversary Pool during the event. That could help with pool-only species if the event interaction is active, but current functionality is unconfirmed.

Is the Birthday Candle Rod still obtainable?
Event guides report that the 2nd Anniversary event ran from October 3 through October 6, 2026. As of October 7, the reported window had passed, and the sources did not establish whether the event interaction continued afterward or whether a rerun was planned. They also did not establish the exact shutdown hour.
Because those dates have passed, check the live game for an active event announcement and whether the Icing Pool still accepts fish before attempting the historical route. The available guides do not support calling the rod permanently unobtainable or saying that a rerun is coming.
