In Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, write a prompt that names the subject and adds useful visual context—such as setting, color, lighting, mood, or style. Generate one image, review it, then adjust the description and try again if it misses your intent. Hostinger’s prompt guidance recommends specificity and keyword experimentation; neither guarantees a particular result.
What to include in a prompt
A practical way to structure a description is: subject + setting or context + colors or lighting + mood or style. This is a useful synthesis of Hostinger’s recommendations, not a required syntax.
- Name the subject clearly. Say what should appear in the image, rather than relying on a broad or ambiguous description. Hostinger explains, “The more precise your subject description, the less room there is for AI interpretation.”
- Add relevant visual context. Include details such as where the subject is, the colors or lighting you want, and the mood. Hostinger’s examples include mood or context terms such as “joyful” and “sci-fi.”
- Try alternate keywords. If the result is not what you had in mind, revise the description or test different relevant words. Prompt changes can explore different outputs, but no wording guarantees a specific image.
For example, an illustrative prompt might be: “A ceramic coffee mug on a wooden café table, morning window light, warm neutral colors, calm editorial mood.” It shows how details can work together; it is not a tested prompt or a promise of a particular result.
Generate an image and refine it
Hostinger documents the generator as an option in manual mode, accessible from section settings or image-element settings. Its manual-mode workflow is:
#1 Best Overall
- Open the relevant section settings or image-element settings and click Generate image.
- Describe the visual you want and select a style.
- Generate the image and review whether it fits the page and your intended subject.
- If it does not fit, edit the description and generate again. Hostinger says one image is produced per request, and repeating the same prompt may produce a similar result, so revise the wording when you want to explore a different direction.
- When you are satisfied, choose Use this image to insert it. Hostinger says generated images are accessible from the media library.
Prompt content Hostinger says it will not generate
Hostinger’s published guidance lists categories of prompts its generator will not fulfill. These include inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content; requests for personal information; illegal activities; hate speech or discriminatory language; and violence, harm, or dangerous activities. It also identifies sensitive keywords including “child,” “children,” “kid(s),” and “young teenagers.” These are restrictions stated in Hostinger’s guidance for this feature, not a complete policy for other image-generation products.

You do not have to use the generator to add imagery. Hostinger’s image instructions for manual mode also describe using the image element to select an image from the media library, browse free images, or upload an image.
